A modern rework of Steve Reich's 'Six Pianos', this piece was produced as part of my degree and was conceived as a surround sound experiment. The full surround version is available, contact me if you would like a copy.

It's been a while but here's a remix of something old ('90s) I'll add part two of this sample mashup.

It was some TV programme about the rise of extremist Christianity in the 90's which is pretty much accepted now. The guys on the programme were burning 'secular' books and other such media. I simply recorded fragments of the show and mixed it with other sounds and their singing but all live, here I've digitally added some organs.

The concept of Ben Sims and Kirk Degiorgio's Machine night is to play only new music, not relying on familiar classics to move the crowd.
After Sandrien and Kirk Degiorgio I played my set. None of the music I played was more than a year old.
As before, I really enjoyed playing at Trouw and the crowd were great. Following the set wherever it went.

When you like a piece so much that looping it many times over does wonderfully weird things to your state of mind, I wondered how much more wonderfully weird I could feel while listening to the same piece being played both straight and in reverse simultaneously. The reverse play eases in after 2 minutes.

AS Live @ Timbuk2 Bristol 11/11

Although I spend almost all of my time making photos, I still love to noodle about with music and I'm not ashamed to admit most of it sounds like shit. I'm not a real musician or anything in fact I can't remember how to play guitars any more.

The noodles on show here are from the '90s onwards and I hope some people can enjoy them on the level they play at.
