The Simpkin Project live on Reggae Central with Chuck Foster on KPFK 90.7 FM — aired April 13, 2025. This 30-minute segment features a live interview with Sergio, Shawn, and Phil, along with the exclusive debut of four tracks from their new album Helping Hand. Roots, soul, and conversation from one of Southern California’s premier reggae bands.

KPFK 90.7 FM is a cornerstone of independent radio in Los Angeles, broadcasting since 1959 as part of the Pacifica Radio Network. Known for its commitment to progressive programming and cultural diversity, KPFK has long been a platform for conscious music and community voices.

Chuck Foster, host of Reggae Central, has been championing roots reggae, ska, rocksteady, and dub on the airwaves for decades. An author, producer, and reggae historian, Chuck has played a key role in documenting and supporting the reggae scene both locally and globally.

This session captures a moment of deep musical connection and history in the making.
