Following from his highly acclaimed debut album “Life Cycle”, Keeno puts forward his latest cinematic masterpiece on Med School with the “Preludes” EP. A stunning reminder of Keeno’s ability to infuse classically trained skill with modern day production, resulting in a four-track collection of uncompromising elegance - a must-have.

Fulfilling Keeno’s reputation for soothing the soul of drum and bass, the up-tempo drums and hypnotic, male-led vocal of “One More Moment” provides four minutes of effortless listening. “Origin” delivers a delicate balance of prominent piano chords and enrapturing bass lines, whilst like a wave of silver shadow “The Moon Under the Water” provides the epitome of refined, liquid luxury.

Alongside fellow Med School classmate Whiney, Keeno has created a truly piece of music to round off the EP. “Dignity Found” possesses a gentle intermittence of percussions, high-pitched string sections and expert intertwining of blissful melodies before dropping into a call and response of anthemic vocal echoes and euphoric, electric guitar.

Released in the summer of 2018, SHFT and his twin track "Memoir / Second Sight" brought a pair of melodic techno gems to Juicebox Music. Now, Yin and Yang celebrate a centenary of releases as "Second Sight" receives a pair of remixes courtesy of a trio of outstanding artists.

A DJ and producer of considerable renown, Marcel Sterling has caught the underground dance fraternity's attention with his Marc DePulse pseudonym. With a mission statement to create "music to remember" through his unique treatment of bass, melody and vocals, some 600 production credits can be found next to the Leipzig based artist's name. He also finds his work allied to such reputable imprints as Einmusika, Budenzauber and Dave Seaman's Selador. 

Making his Yin debut, the Marc DePulse remix of "Second Sight" is full of the deft subtlety of the original and a new bassline groove is sculpted in impressive fashion with its roots firmly in SHFT's original. A ticking percussive groove adds further to the rhythmic flavor as the track evolves elegantly with each passing movement until a searing lead motif creates a stunning denouement.
