You’re still diving deep your moustache into a beer foam. Breeze is blowing. You’re button up your stylish Yugoslavian-made shirt. There is a smell of cypresses and fried fish. You’re looking at a snow-white boat riding along the deserted pebble beach. There is a song in an unknown language heard from a disco. Damn, how good it is! You’re starting to humming it with your eyes closed. You’re suddenly transforming from the Sergei Nikolaevich Zhgutov, engineer of the Lubovitch’s transistor plant, into a mole on the cheek of your wife, into a half-eaten vegetable salad of your son, into a cypress at the hotel "Volna», into a boat riding through the sea waves, into a very smooth rock on the beach, into a cigarette butt under this stone. It is nice.

We invite everyone who dared to try such an experience, even if you are not an engineer Zhgutov who received a trip ticket to a sanatorium near the sea, to test themselves with the Emberche’s mix for 5/8 : radio. You can expect a round dance of exotic pop music from the 70s, 80s and even 90s, modern folktronics, and other auditory surprises. Renegade Radio Camp - BOGDAN - Mix 30-11-2020

Years of sweating in garage bands evidently prepared the Lipsky brothers to break boundaries in commercial club culture with a sound that somehow evokes the essence of psych-rock while never sounding out of place alongside certified technoid bangers.

Their musical breadth as producers speaks to their talent as DJs, with a deep passion for record digging that again conveys very specific sensibilities – a love for the exotic, the yearning for transcendence, as well as the rough rebellious energy of punk. They produce dance music from the margins, full of with narrative, melody, and drama. It’s intense, in a good way.* 

Their affiliations to broad-spectrum labels like Multi Culti, Disco Halal and Correspondant might paint some picture of their range, and their stellar remixes for artists like Nicola Cruz, Adam Port, Autarkic and Polo & Pan may have earned them lots of plays,  but their debut LP ‘Sorry, We Did Something Wrong’ is undoubtedly their most ambitious and elaborate statement to date. Drenched in their influences, rich in collabs with a range of artists like Sepultura’s Igor Cavalera and C.A.R., the record is at once ambitious and, as the title suggests, apologetic. Their capacity for embracing these polarities, a radical boldness tempered by self-consciousness, it may divide the audience, but it shows unmistakable personality.

Simple Symmetry returnes to Multi Culti with an epic, mournful EP called “Problem,” featuring a huge remix by long-time compatriots Red Axes. Another huge edit for CULTED is on deck, as well as a peak-time rework of Drugface, following up on their massive mix of ‘In the Clouds.’
