Seven tracks including a remix by The Hacker

Other Side is the first solo album of Michael Zodorozny, New York post-punk icon and founding member of Crash Course in Science. The side he shows on the album is a rougher and more personal one. 
The seven tracks, including a feisty remix by The Hacker, are dark and thrusting with an EBM and industrial feel. Home-made and self-invented instruments complete Michael's specific, extraordinary sound.
Other Side was produced by Matia Simovich aka INHALT. Michael himself painted and designed the cover artwork.

Each Thursday, Machine Club congregates at Club Tee Gee in Atwater Village, with its 5 rotating residents – Robert Lane, Stacy Christine, Gina Kuhn, Remy Marc, and Silent Servant – spinning new wave, italo, cold wave, post punk, mutant disco, new beat, EBM, industrial, NDW, and much much more.

Usually, two of the residents split the evening – occasionally with guest deejays invited to spice it up – but sometimes we just need the whole night to stretch out and express ourselves: a Solo Mission.

For our first Solo Mission, resident and Rubycon Records honcho, Robert Lane, drops 12" rarities and cherished favorites under the giant disco ball. Here's the closing two hours of the night for your enjoyment, and for our first published mix in 2 years of Machine Clubs nights. You're welcome.

I found the inspiration for this ep while watching a movie about the gangs of New York “The Warriors” (1979). I think the new warriors are us: people trying to express themselves through different art forms specifically in my case through music.
