It's almost a year and I decided to upload the full opening I did for John Digweed at my home STEREO MONTREAL in May 2023. After that, John gave me the amazing opportunity to be on the show for the second hour, so I selected the more "main" part. 
Actually my opening was 4 hours but I had to stop the recording at 3:15mins, short story, the long version of it was only available on his Mixcloud Select channel for subscribers but now is here free for all the people that didn't had the chance to listen to the full experience from the ground up, no interruptions, no marks, the pure essence of a crafted opening set, from empty club to full house without spoiling the night, something that I feel sometimes its an art in danger of extinction.
I have been doing this meticulous job at the club for almost 12 years and i will continue to do it as long as I have the chance.

'Antrim's Or Two Strangers imprint welcomes Sebastian Sellares to the label with 'Epiphany In The Woods'. Also known under his previous moniker Monje, Sebastian hails from one of Argentina’s most talent rich regions in Cordoba. His smooth progressive minded sound has become a favourite amongst old and new school fans of the genre, landing him releases on ICONYC, PHW Elements and Massive Harmony Records. Now fresh off an EP for AMITABHA to begin the year, Sebastian debuts on Or Two Strangers alongside remixes from Simply City and Golan Zocher.

The first interpretation of ‘Epiphany In The Woods'’ is provided by Simply City who is making his label debut. Hailing from Chile but now based in Montreal, Cesar Romero aka Simply City has become a fixture in the city’s burgeoning nightlife, earning a spot as one of Stereo’s resident DJs. Because Sharing Is caring, here is one of the highlights of Hernan Cattaneo's SunsetStrip Buenos Aires, a very simple mashup that contains mainly one of my remixes from last year i did for Sebastian Sellares on Or Two Strangers  and some parts from all time progressive classic John Creamer and Stephan K feat Nkemdi "I wish you were here".  So basically Hernan played it and a 18.000 crowd went off :D

Last February 2020 before we were all sent into confinement due to this covid-19 pandemic i had the chance to visit Buenos Aires to play in an amazing showcase at the Bow invited by my home label SUDBEAT and the whole Argentinian family.  I did this version specially to close my presentation and it was magically well received.  I will never forget that morning.
Depeche Mode is my ultimate favourite band of all times and this title means a lot to me so i decided to do a bootleg with it.

Late in the 20th Century, Ridley Scott crafted a film that would become a landmark of science fiction.  Blade Runner is, at it's heart, a story about what it means to be human in the future based in huge corporations with controlled and impoverished masses.  Does this sound familiar to you???
This is my tribute to the final and iconic track of this masterpiece done by the master Vangelis.

Nuances 008 - February 2021

Chilean-born DJ/Producer SIMPLY CITY began his music career embedded in clubs and raves in his native city of Santiago under the alias Cesar “Bass” Romero. After developing a reputation as one of the most in-demand DJ’s in his home country, Cesar left Chile to begin touring across Latin America, Asia, Europe, and North America in the pursuit of launching his DJ career. 

Cesar then spent many years traveling and touring the world internationally as a DJ. It was Montreal, however, where he decided to root himself after much time abroad. Here, he gained a coveted spot as a resident at Montreal's world famous Stereo Afterhours, where he’s been engaging crowds and developing his sound for over 10 years. 

Stereo’s globally recognized sound system, acoustic space, and dedicated club-goers gave Cesar the opportunity not only to apply his breadth of experience as a career DJ, but also to explore a variety of new musical territories. At Stereo, Cesar never fails to flex his mixing skills to an audience of “stereo-heads”; always taking them on truly sonic and atmospheric journeys through his music. Whether opening up the room for some of the biggest names in electronic music or taking over the space for an “all night long” set, Cesar’s mastery of tight mixing and careful track selection have garnered him respect both locally and internationally. 

Outside of DJing, Cesar has released several tracks on some of the most well-renowned progressive house labels; ultimately putting himself on the map as one Montreal’s most recognized progressive house producers. SIMPLY CITY continues to play his music beyond Canada’s borders, and consistently delivers his infectious Stereo flare to audiences across the world.
