BIO :
Kebin van Reeken nació en Den Haag, Holanda. Su incursión en el mundo de la música comenzó a
temprana edad, donde la pasión por la percusión, lo llevó a tomar los bongos y la batería como primer
herramienta para explorar un mundo de ideas creativas.
A la edad de 12 años decide dar el gran paso a la producción musical, en el cual rápidamente se destaca
por los sonidos incorporados.

Sus producciones se caracterizan por sus potentes bajos y trabajo profundo tanto en las percusiones como en las melodías creando un ambiente musical muy agradable tanto como oscuro y groovero.

Hoy en día pasó por algunos de los más grandes venues de Argentina tales como Bahrein (Bs As), Esvedra (Bs As), Cocoliche (Bs As), Fruta (Córdoba), Lookme (Córdoba) entre muchos otros… Además, se presentó en varias provincias del suelo argentino como Córdoba, Salta, Jujuy, Tucumán, Rio Negro, La Rioja, San Juan, San Luis, Catamarca, Corrientes, Santiago del Estero, por nombrar algunas. También tuvo presentaciones en el exterior en Montevideo (Uruguay) y Santiago de Chile, en el mítico ciclo “Misa”.

Progressive Waves 006 Guest Mix By Kebin Van Reeken

I'm super excited to be sharing my Return to Rio Festival set with you.

This mix is very special to me as it's really one of the first times I've been able to express my style of music, and to do so on a stage like this was nothing short of a dream.

It was such a pleasure to play on the Friday evening at the Pool stage and I'll never forget it.

My creative thought process in this mix was to play around with the masculine and feminine energy in me (and all of us) using deeper darker tracks mixed in with dreamy floaty emotive sounds to encapsulate the yin and yang, masculine and feminine to open up each side, to stomp the ground and float away within the hour I had to deliver this set.

Thank you to everyone who danced and who came up to me over the weekend telling me how much they enjoyed it. These comments meant so much to me especially as this was the first time I could express myself musically like this. Thank you.

And the biggest thank you to Ricky and Alex Cooper for inviting me to play and giving me the opportunity to deliver this set. 

Lastly, thank you to my friends who supported me that day as I was crapping it! You guys are wonderful.

Biografía:
Maximiliano aka B.I.G es un DJ y Productor musical nacido en Cordoba, Argentina en el año 1996. Empezo con la musica electronica en el año 2018. Se introdujo en las mezclas en el  año 2021 guiado por Alex Rojo, aprendiendo y desarrollando una mezcla armonica, con melodias viajeras, bajos agresivos y bajadas intensas creando sesiones con mucho groove para su publico incluyendo Progressive House, Melodic Techno e Indie Dance. En poco mas de 2 años de carrera ya ha tocado en los mejores eventos de CBA y el Pais como MEED PRODUCCIONES, en LA FABRICA w/Mathame y recientemente con Mind Against, FRUTA X DAHAUS, RIOT PRODUCCIONES, FRIDOM, QUALITY ESPACIO, LAGUNA AZUL, MYSTIC, STUDIO THEATRE, RAREST (Salta), DESIERTO (La Rioja), WIKA (Catamarca), DOWNTEMPO (Buenos Aires)  solo por nombrar algunos, llegando a desplegar su musica por diferentes provincias de Argentina y  tambien muchas ciudades cerca de Cordoba. Chilean-born DJ/Producer SIMPLY CITY began his music career embedded in clubs and raves in his native city of Santiago under the alias Cesar “Bass” Romero. After developing a reputation as one of the most in-demand DJ’s in his home country, Cesar left Chile to begin touring across Latin America, Asia, Europe, and North America in the pursuit of launching his DJ career. 

Cesar then spent many years traveling and touring the world internationally as a DJ. It was Montreal, however, where he decided to root himself after much time abroad. Here, he gained a coveted spot as a resident at Montreal's world famous Stereo Afterhours, where he’s been engaging crowds and developing his sound for over 10 years. 

Stereo’s globally recognized sound system, acoustic space, and dedicated club-goers gave Cesar the opportunity not only to apply his breadth of experience as a career DJ, but also to explore a variety of new musical territories. At Stereo, Cesar never fails to flex his mixing skills to an audience of “stereo-heads”; always taking them on truly sonic and atmospheric journeys through his music. Whether opening up the room for some of the biggest names in electronic music or taking over the space for an “all night long” set, Cesar’s mastery of tight mixing and careful track selection have garnered him respect both locally and internationally. 

Outside of DJing, Cesar has released several tracks on some of the most well-renowned progressive house labels; ultimately putting himself on the map as one Montreal’s most recognized progressive house producers. SIMPLY CITY continues to play his music beyond Canada’s borders, and consistently delivers his infectious Stereo flare to audiences across the world.
