Nach Diyan Dowain Soniyan - Heera

Many people today still argue that it’s Kalapreet’s Shava Shava album that is truly an iconic album. With tracks like “Giddhe Vich Nachdi De” and Meri Khabbar De Ute Dekha IK” the album was again a production that Deepak Khazanchi surpassed all expectations. In the real sense of the word this was not an out and out dance album, but a mature moving forward of the Bhangra genre.

Kala Preet - Gidhey Vich Nachdi De

In early 1984 Manjeet decided to branch out as solo singer and approached Deepak Khazanchi to produce his first solo album. The album Holle Holle was incidentally the first release under Deepak Khazanchi’s newly formed label Arishma. The release of “Holle Holle” heralded the arrival of both Deepak Khazanchi and Manjeet Kondal as exponents of new age bhangra. A truly westernised album with emphasis on keyboards drum machines, and saxophones, “Holle Holle” set the bhangra scene alight.

Following the groundbreaking album 'Pump Up The #Bhangra' by 'The New Pardesi Music Machine' from 1988 featuring Vocals by Silinder & Boota Pardesi - came 'Shake Yer Pants' in 1990 .. with hits like Bhabiay Akh Lar Gayee, Balbeero Bhabi.

"PURE GARAGE -CHAPTER 2" put a unique twist on popular filmy tracks like "Mast Mast", "Kehta Hai Pal Pal" and "Dheere Dheere Se" while Punjabi vocals had finely been crafted to sit over hard hitting 2 Step beats.
