With this one I was trying to focus on the emotional release in the sample, the vocals are almost screaming there’s so much pain in them, so I was motivated to flip this in a way that focused on the heartache and manipulation of emotions. I flipped a bassline and then layered the vocals on top for the first beat, and I was gassed off of how that emphasised the vocals by having the bass hitting hard underneath. I knew I had to switch this one up too, it was just too crazy not to do it, I thought it was cool how the first beat acts as a build up, setting the vibe for the 2nd which is a real release of emotion, like I said the vocals are fully screaming it's nuts.
