Well, it's been a minute.
An even longer minute since I tried to record a song with Synth-V or Vocaloid. So long in fact that the software has totally changed and I had to figure out how to use it again. I had to mess about with it a lot more and I can't say I like the vocals as much as I did in the last software version.

Anyway. Here's a thing. I'm using this song with my own band, but I wanted to see how it would sound like this.
The lyrics are really just nonsense.

I'm pretty busy at the moment which is why I haven't uploaded anything in a couple of weeks - but I had some free time this morning and wanted to spend some time mixing vocals and see what I can do with UTAU.

It's a quick cheap and cheerful cover with plenty of de-essing, compressing, stereo widening and EQ-ing, but I quite like this. 

I'll probably do a remix at some stage, but I'll get back to uploading the originals in a couple of weeks.

39 Music! 39みゅーじっく! [Ft. Kasane Teto - UTAU Cover]

Excuse the covers recently, I wanted to keep posting something while I worked on my own songs.

Close to finishing off the album and am making some final changes to tuning and mastering. There'll be a mix of dubstep, dance and rock on there and it should be out in May.

I wanted to share this one though. It's about Teto and Miku trying to escape into the real world. Consider this a demo as I need to clean up some Teto pronunciation, but I really enjoy it.

The album will be 13 songs of Miku and Teto and the album title will be called "Glitch". I'll be changing my artist name as well once it is launched.

This is the Eleanor Forte version of a Miku English song on my album Glitch.

One of the lovely people that message me suggested I take a look at SynthV a while ago and I really hadn't had a chance. Until this morning. Eleanor sounds just as good as or better than Cyber Diva and the SynthV workflow is just great. I hope it gets more banks.
Once this album is out, I was planning to release a few things on Spotify once every couple of months. I will DEFINITELY be using Eleanor for some of them.

The album/Miku version isn't on here yet as I'm still working out the lyrics as there are a couple of words I don't like.... also this is the poppiest song I have ever written.

A few days ago I was sitting in work and was thinking "I wonder what Biohazard would sound like as a punk rock song". So then I made this. It was so much fun to make and I am pretty happy with how it turned out. Biohazard is one of my favourite Vocaloid songs and turning it into this was great fun. So it's been a while since I've uploaded anything. I've been playing shows, working and sometimes when you're writing songs, you'll find that one.. that one song that you just can't get to sound right and it drives you nuts. That's what this song is.

It's still in its demo stage as i'm still not completely happy with it.. , but when I do have it finished, I'll get some art done and stick it on Spotify. It might be a while though, as I'm pretty close to a rock album.. and a separate pop/dance album.
