A remix made for an entry to a previous Anjunabeats Competition.  The original Vocals were supplied by Oceanlab whilst everything else in this remix is original material created using Cubase SX and a host of other VSTs.

An hour long live recording of my DJ set at tranception's official 9th show - Hong Kong's very own underground monthly Trance event.

Decided to drop some surprises that night with a string of classics which garnered a huge amount of nostalgia from the crowd. Tracks from legends such as Gouryella, Above & Beyond, Darren Tate and Mind One; these are artists that moved me when I first started out in the scene Eons ago. Trance has evolved but legendary anthems remain timeless.

Simtub LIVE At tranception #9 Hong Kong (23 Jan '16)

A vital artist in the Hong Kong underground circuit, Simtub plays Progressive / Melodic Techno and various micro genres of House and Trance music. His sets are known to be evocative and energetic, backed by his understanding of what galvanizes the dance floor.

Simtub grew up during the intersection of the hacienda movement in Northern England amidst the rise of UK underground rave culture and when superclubs such as Miss Moneypenny's, Turnmills, Cream and Fabrics dominated the landscape.  This period in time heavily influenced his musical style and his sets continue to paint a unique narration of classic influences.

Simtub is also the co-founder of After Dark Sessions, an event night originally conceived to promote melodic driven music in the less exposed cities around Asia.
