A song which i would absolutely LOVE to record properly. It needs a cello in the place of the ooohs and ahhs... but ALAS! I have no cello :( and i need to reword the second verse... but this is how it stands at the moment

Red Is The Rose - Trad. By Julie Gorman- Cliff (Harmonies by Sinead Livingston)

A ballad which i recently put music to. the words were written hundreds of years ago, and tell of the story of a small invasion of the village where i grew up, Rookhope. I made it for a project at uni, but there's still so much i would like to do with it because i feel it could be so much more than what it is. The bird song was recorded from the hills of Rookhope A full Creative journal can is available if you would like to see the creative process 

During the song, you may hear some words which sound odd, i pronounced the words as they were written for example, Barnard castle was spelled "Castell"

Not the best vocal performance but hey.... this is just for a bit of fun haha :)
