Sebastian, better known as Klimt Eastwood, is a house DJ from Cologne. He started DJing with vinyl house music in 2001 and in 2003 he was playing in several clubs all over Germany as part of the DJ duo "Chirurgie". During this time, they performed as DJs and VJs, decorated clubs with slide shows and video productions, and played electroclash.

In 2009 he had his first release on Katorza Rec. in France together with Sascha Burghard. He has been living in Cologne since 2012 and ran the party series “Nackt & Abgebrannt” there together with Sascha Burghard and Dominik Jozic from 2015 to 2018.

As a DJ he has played in various clubs in Germany, Switzerland, UK and the USA and musically he can be found somewhere between deep and tech house.

Now it's your turn to see for yourself what to expect, just as we're excited and grateful that Klimt Eastwood contributed this mix to this week's Vacanza radio!

Wenn Du die Aufnahme nach dem Gig unbedingt sofort als allererstes hochladen willst. Weil wirklich mal alles alles rund gelaufen ist. Und man sich, die Musik und die Menschen über drei Stunden sehr tief gefühlt hat.😊 Eine kleine Panne gab es: 2-3 Tracks fehlen ca, in der Mitte der Aufnahme. Zwischen Musumeci und ARTBAT war mal die Batterie vom Aufnahmegerät leer, hab das gerade noch mehr oder weniger kunstvoll mit Audacity rausgeschnitten. Ist dadurch auch ein sehr Interessanter Übergang geworden. 😇 Ansonsten ist alles noch original und es wurde überall ganz viel Hand und Herz angelegt. Von Vorne bis hinten. Danke an Nici Palm für die 1a Vorarbeit und Übergabe 😅🙏 , an den Westhafen + Team for having me und natürlich an alle tollen Menschen die dort im Sand mit mir zusammen ins Morgenlicht getanzt sind.

This is a mix for the New York based project AMICI TOMODACHI (meaning "friends" in Italian and Japanese) by the inspiring power woman activist and DJane Sana Fujimura (@howmuchadollarcost). 

In respect to the current events we decided to dedicate this mix to support the Black Lives Matter movement. In the track list for this mix, black artists are named and marked with a star sign. It’s such a shame that so often these original credits get lost in the times and process of sampling, editing and remixing. 

Music brings us all together regardless of our background. DISCO unites! And has been uniting since its existence. It represents a subculture that is fueled by respect, acceptance, liberation and unity in diversity - virtues of humanity that we (should) all live by.
