I won't lie this next mixtape is gonna have a bunch of rapping on it , I just love using words this way and its been a while so I wanted to showcase that with this project DLMGTB II (Dont Let Me Get That Beat II) is a continuation of the first one. I take some of my favorite industry tracks and find their instrumental and make them my own it would be a lie to say I dont try to outshine every artists song I did but all with respect to the competition that is hip-hop there still some of my favorite artists but you gotta strive to beat the greats if you wanna become great. King's Flow

I've been holding on to this for a while and I decided to let it go over this past weekend(6/13/14) on TefMan's radio show. This song was written without the usual method of 16 bars and a hook, more so just me speaking as if I was writing in a journal and getting things of my chest and out my mind. This is why I call them 'FreeWrites' its just me, a beat, a pen, and a pad and I write until the beat stops or my mind is clear. I try to make each one a little different and this is the 3rd in the collection if you haven't heard the first two there posted on this page as well but this one is more introspective and more conscious. Its gonna be on my upcoming project King Poetic EP dropping this summer which is not gonna be a mixtape but its too long to be considered an EP.

this track is probably one that im the most proud of, and its one of the realest tracks on the mixtape. I got the beat from a mixtape by DJ Burn One that he put out and it was full of dope instrumentals i ended up using two of them for Nightmares. I used a rapid flow to express the stress I'm going thru right now trying to get noticed and stay true to myself and stay true to my friends. This is a dope track I heard from BJ the Chicago Kid's album 'Pineapple Now & Laters' and I noticed there was a whole instrumental at the beginning. So I chose to add a verse speaking about the ghetto I grew up in from my perspective. Sincere Life is a true emcee who's a lyrically adept wordsmith with a fluid delivery over hard-hitting production. Coming from Madison, WI by way of Chicago he has been mastering his craft as an emcee since before his adolescence. He has been writing since the eighth grade with his major influences being Nas, Talib Kweli, and Mos Def. At age 11 he lost his father to a car crash in Chicago and this impacted him and his family in a major way leaving his mom to take care of him and his younger brother by herself. He turned to music to serve as a method to grieve with the loss and with his older cousin who was an aspiring rapper inspiring him he began to write his own lyrics on paper. By the time Sincere graduated he began to form into the type of emcee he always wanted to be and for years after focused on impacting Hip-Hop in a way that wasn't usually done. In an effort to stand out he began writing his first couple projects free from swearing and even using the word 'Nigga' to challenge himself and the minds of hip-hop listeners. He released his first project 'Humble Beginning' in 2010 while this showcased his flow and lyrical ability it was the 2013 release of 'Write Of Passage' that made his name a permanent fixture in the Madison Hip-Hop scene. With notice taken from local publications like Madison Magazine, Isthmus, and Madison.com as well as performing at local venues and opening for artists like Talib Kweli, Joey BadAss & Tech-9 over the years he has made a name for himself and become a fixture in the Madison Hip Hop Scene. He hopes to use his lyricism to gain exposure and tour the world sharing his message and his music focusing more on the fans than chasing radio success. With this in mind he hopes to grow as an artist, gain a loyal fan base he can form a relationship with through his music and become a better musician as he gains experience in the hip-hop industry.
