Born on the outskirts of São Paulo, Lucas Novaes is a dj, musician and producer from Brasil. His style and research is based on EBM and Dark Disco, genres that reflects on the creation of sounds influenced by the atmosphere of the 80's.

Emerging as DJ in pioneering alternative electronic music parties in São Paulo countryside, Lucas has evolved into a new perspective of sound, bringing music to environments that go beyond the dance floor.


As a producer, he dedicated to release on different latitudes. His melodies are sculpted with arpeggiated synths and sequences that point to a more intense and cosmic atmosphere. Some of his latest releases include tracks on REVOLTE (CL), Swords and Chains (UK), Nubians of Plutonia (IT), Kyma Komplex (MX) and SHISHI (GG).

For this series, we will never put directly the names of the originals, we think it spoils the fun ! Some edits will be from quite obvious tracks, others from complete obscure sources. No rules, no elitism, we will cast a wide spectrum, from pure diggers to club mainstays.
This first edition is an easy one, coming from a quite famous underground german track of the late 80's, Curses giving it a welcome extra punch ;  the perfect tool to vacuum the entire house during those fun Covid-19 two persons indoor cleaning fiesta !
