Monoblok’s orignal is a catchy electro track with hints of synthwave, and there’s a freshness to it that makes it perfect to hit the dancefloors this summer.
K-Effect and Parissior’s remix takes the indie dance vibe of the original a little further with a powerful synthwave-meets-electro interpretation driven by a strong rhythm section and carefully crafted synth lines, while Laptop Kid ventures frantically into breakbeat territory, distorting the original bassline in the meantime to most dramatic effect.
Ctrl+Stop closes the deal with a no holds barred rework revolving around robotic vocals, dirty textures and uncompromising electro beats. This one is definitely tailored for the dancefloor.

On Friday 8th September Morocco was struck by the strongest earthquake on record for over a century. Hitting the High Atlas mountains, around 70 kilometres southwest of Marrakesh, the 6.8 magnitude quake has killed over 3000 people and impacted the lives of over 300,000 more.

As a way to raise funds for families and communities impacted by the disaster, we’ve rallied friends together for ‘Tadamoun: A Compilation for Moroccan Earthquake Relief’.

Compiled in collaboration with Geneva-based DJ and producer Reda Saiarh, the release features 24 tracks contributed by artists from across Europe, including Anatolian Weapons, Romain FX, Justine Forever, Cornelius Doctor, Zaatar and more. Musically it travels across many sounds and styles too, from ambient electronica, trip hop and leftfield bass to chugging Italo, jackin’ new beat and trippy techno.

All proceeds will be split 50/50 between two charities who are helping to raise money for those affected and to rebuild communities that have been devastated: Atlas Kinder, a charity who supports abandoned children in Morocco, and Insaf, a non-profit organisation that protects and supports women and children.

At 105 BPM, this version brings a steady structure while remaining faithful to the mystique of the original. Lashes (Peter Invasion & Gregor Habicht Remix) Peter Invasion and Gregor Habicht take the hypnotic, distortion-heavy 'Lashes' to chaotic new heights. Layered with arpeggiated sounds their remix adds a structured dynamism that contrasts yet complements the track's underlying turbulence. The result is a chaotic harmony, capturing the track's essence while expanding its auditory impact. Energy (Mala Ika Remix) Taking inspiration from In Between's standout dancefloor gem 'Energy,' Paris-based Mala Ika channels Kraftwerk-like vibes with an elevated pitch and vocal stabs that infuse a lighter, almost disco feel. We’re happy to cordially invite you to the Regression Session, hosted by eternal Philadelphia scene flag bearers @zillasonacid ! And if you think this sounds awfully lot like a scam, you’re probably right: „Regression Session“ is just a front of their illegal black market operation, trading raw uncut gems on a large scale. Just listen to the opener and title track and you won’t exactly have a strong case for the Zillas selling out, but rough as it is, this thing is capable of destroying any dancefloor it touches. Looking at their recent releases it’s fair to say the Z’s are on quite a run, putting out music on labels like Permanent Vacation, Throne Of Blood, Multi Culti or Ivan Smagghe’s Disques de la Mort. Tunes like the sneaky rough slow burners „Underling“ or „Start Digging“ sound like they could be lifted from the latter’s infamous DJ sets, while the deceptively titled „Cha Cha Cha“ or closer „Casual Observer“ justify the „Acid“ in the artist name. „Shining Snakes Across The Lake“ is what some years might have been called a mid-tempo house roller and probably counts as downtempo these days. Speaking of tempos, the penultimate „Sweet Days Of Discipline“ starts of masquerading as reaaally downtempo, but ends up throwing 155bpm kick drums at you, so better watch out, all you k-hole ravers! Let’s not forget to talk about „bquiet“, which is what you’d call mid-tempo house these days (125bpm) and uses the eternally banging combination of a jacking beat, a polyrhythmic bass line, some lead-synth stabs and talking vocal slices. You can practically smell the sweat. So what’s left to say? What you see is what you get: They are Zillas, and they are on Acid. And they provide a collection of eight tunes that probably each don’t necessarily have a double-digit amount of tracks in their DAW projects, and that’s exactly what makes them so forceful. For over ten years, ZILLAS ON ACID (Broadzilla DJs, 100 Years of Solid Dudes) have raddened dance floors as residents of Philadelphia’s party institution Making Time. Now, they harness the Focused Totality of Their Psychic Powers for their first original offering: BACK TO THE BEAST, the debut vinyl release on 100 Years of Solid Dudes. 

Title track BACK TO THE BEAST is a conga-click slab of acid argument, a jacked-up My Life in the Bush of Ghosts for late-night early 21st century freaks. Next up, GOING INTO TRANCE offers a guided regression session into the White Hot Room, a hypnotic deep trip behind your eyes. BACK TO THE BEATS is a dank, dubby reimagining of the title track that starts as a bonus beat and ends as a dark drum rebuttal from deep within the BEAST. Finally, best boys KHIDJA (Hivern Discs, Malka Tuki, Love on the Rocks, [Emotional] Especial) reincarnate the title track as a transcendental piece of wet techno—a 9+ minute aquarian journey to the center of The Orb.
