On board for the twelfth release of Urge To Dance, comes the Secret Fusion's Labal Manager SouveQ. One of Hungary's finest electronic music exports, with releases for Secret Fusion, Buttress, Eklektisch and others, SouveQ is known for his always quirky deliveries. Bypass makes no difference to what you can expect from him.

On remix duties are Theus Mago and Rick Offen with two superb interpretations of Bypass. Always challenging and captivating, the magician Theus Mago delivers a fast-paced, pumping and totally hypnotizing remix. Engrossing kick and bass, dirty synths with a pinch of acid and just the right amount of 90s throwback make this track an absolute morning bomb.

Reculture returns with its installation of ‘A Touch of Culture’. Parts 1 and 2 of this second edition reels in even more friends of the label, to showcase the variety and depth of the narratives from the artists it closely keeps eyes on. Seven different tracks - seven different
textures, emotions and soundscapes.

Hardt Antoine alongside label friends REj and Pattn showcase a deep and slow burning intergalactic dance of ‘Ecstasy’. Leading hard with its thumping bassline, flickers of retro- infused synths and a spiralling melody crusade in passionate and melodramatic fashion.
Taking us along a wave of kinetic hi-hat-htting energy comes from Sahar’s ‘The Last Chapter’. Playing dynamic in groove, it shakes, rattles and rolls along a supersonic landscape, laced with plenty of balearic-infused acid squelches and an uplifting vocal.

Light in movement, it leans towards a minimally breezy vibe.
Jepe introduces us to his world of ‘Binomial Expansion’. Capturing fast rolling energy with its computerised twinkles, whizzles and whirls, churning and clapping - all elements layered intelligently to keep its pace highly-strung throughout. Its array of shrill synthesis radiates until it throws itself into obscure madness, tamed by a body-moving groove.

Just want to express my gratitude to Agnes. The song "Familiar" is one of my favourite songs of all time. It has really helped conduit to my inner feminine and connected 
me on an emotional, somatic and spiritual level for many years. Agnes' musical works
have always been a quite visceral journey for me.
I myself being a drum and bass producer, wanted to encapsulate this feeling of 
deep sentimentality and spin it within the flow of my own creativity. My intention with
music is to create a bridge between the harder grittier aspects of certain genres 
and aggregate the softer more gentle side. Which for me means a symbiotic coalescence of masculine and feminine energies.

TIM ENGELHARDT 
Moments of Truth Remixes

When 'Moments of Truth', the debut full length LP from Tim Engelhardt (@timengelhardt), landed in May this year, it took a lot of people by surprise. Released on Poker Flat Recordings, it was clear that a very exciting new talent had arrived - one that at the tender age of 19 had found a voice and sound far beyond his years.

The stunning LP combines his extensive classical training with an eclectic dance edge, utilizing complex melodies with subtle harmonies. It's his elegant, unique touch that makes his music so utterly mesmerizing and sets him far above the competition. (Magnetic Magazine)

This EP further confirms that observation, consisting of three beautifully realised remixes of some of the album’s highlights.

'Kissing Your Eyes' is reworked by André Hommen (@andrehommen) - the German househead who  flips the original into a deep and loopy house bomb - the percussion is tight and fully wound up - sure to unravel a few dancfloors in the near future.

The British DJ and producer Tim Green (@timgreeen) sets to work on 'Eyes Closed' - infusing the original with his own character - a thick, pulsing bass drum, long, dramatic strings and the superb vocal from one of the album's crowning glories.

Fideles’ (@fideles) remix of 'Beyond Time' is typically sublime - the Italian duo Daniele Aprile & Mario Roberti take the track for a spacey, trippy ride with smooth arps and a killer groove reminiscent of Âme at their most progressive.
