Neurotikerʼs heavy 80ʼs influence is very apparent in his production style. DJ since 1999 he has developed his own style of music production, that ranges from techno to disco always with a retro feel to his music. Influenced by the sound of the 80ʼs he tries to create a unique sound as he expressed in his latest releases.

Neurotiker, living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil has been releasing music since 2010 on labels such as Ritmo Fatale, Melopee, Weirdos, Ulla Records to name a few and with a new imprint of his own coming this year OGIO Records.

Berlin-based producer Wowa Effect returns to Feinstoff with Thirty, a groovy, piano-led house cut that radiates understated nostalgia. Energy Fields is Gus Paterson’s vinyl debut. One of the brains behind Bokhari Records, this four tracker melts disco, italo and house into a creamy funk fondue. Staggered bleeps and crisp percussion introduce the title piece, samples echo as a squelching thick bassline drops. Countering the fudgey strings are sparkling synthlines, bold brassy analogue bursts tethering the track to the floor. Although tempos drop for “Emotive Feel,” the energy remains high. Robust keys are further fortified by blasts from vintage machines, a free flowing groove lifted into astral jazz. Sharp beats open the flip for “Cyborg Dateline.” Soon, Paterson’s melodic skill takes over. Layers of inspiration are held together by ambling notes. Echoes of cosmic and disco are adopted, a contemporary twist delivered through the complex intertwining of elements. Paterson takes us into the stratosphere for the finale. “Jetpack Joyride” maintains the rhythm of its predecessor, pouring on the funk through daring piano lines and rich strings of double bass. A trip into the beyond from this debutant.

PREMIERE – Gus Paterson – Energy Fields (Bordello A Parigi)

Hot on the heels of the acclaimed Tears Maker Chant 12” LP, illustrious French Electronic duo Froid Dub are back on Ransom Note Records with an interstellar remix package. Featuring the inimitable talents of Richard Fearless, Lena Willikens, Rug Dug, Tia Cousins, Zillas On Acid, Tolouse Low Tax, Timothy Clerkin and Vacant Heads, there is a little something special for all occasions on this colossal record. Slip into something comfortable and sit back.

Opening proceedings, Mr Richard Fearless starts us off with a bang with his remix of Control. Or, indeed, a warp. Bubbly Dubby bass abound, frenetic, IDM-esque beats skip along underneath the low end pummelling before giving way to luxuriant chord progressions. A perfect balance of light and shade, this is a weapons grade banger.

Next up, Lena Willikens puts her own distinctive imprint on Digital Pond. Upping the bpm and the pressure, this dark, synthy, Lofi safari is an anxiety attack is audio format. But an exceptionally pleasurable one!

Lead single comes from Strange Affair with their mix of Just One. Who are Strange Affair, we hear you ask? They are the exquisite combination of two big hitters, Ruf Dug and Tia Cousins! We’re delighted to introduce their maiden voyage as a production pair, and they make waves here with a frenzied reimagining of the original.

Elsewhere, Philly Chug Champions Zillas On Acid turn On The Nose into a dance floor stomper of epic proportions. Tolouse Low Trax takes on Terri’s Dub, sliding into a pair of laidback slacks and sipping a cocktail on the showery terrace, his insouciant approach will have you dancing in the most relaxed way imaginable.

Timothy Clerkin remixes LP lead track Tears Maker, which in Froid Dub’s very own words is “like been catapulted back to a DJ Alfredo mix at Pacha Club in 92”. Hands in the air! Finally, our old friends Oliver Ho and Christian Donaghey (Autumns) team up as Vacant Heads to undertake Tears Maker too, moulding it into an angular, industrial dirge, brimming with sleaze, distortion and grimy 808s. You have been warned!

After years working behind the scenes as a talent agent, Nackley returned to music production as a way to process life’s chaos, anxiety, and the awkward beauty of being human. His debut EP, Anger Management (Bordello A Parigi, 2025), emerged from this transitional period – part catharsis, part tongue-in-cheek commentary on trying (and often failing) to keep it together.

A classical and jazz-trained bass player with a passion (bordering on obsession) for patch cables and modular antics, Nackley creates music that blends dark, cinematic synth textures with playful, punchy rhythms. Imagine coldwave and synthpop having an existential crisis at a club, but with a sense of humour about it. There’s tension and drama in his sonic palette, yet it’s never fully bleak – there’s always a cheeky twist, a groove that makes you smirk while you dance. It’s music for foggy dance floors, late-night reflections, and anyone who likes their emotional depth served with a side of goofy charm.
