DJ Alone Again (USA) (https://soundcloud.com/alone_again) keeps the vibe playful with a deep house cut that makes it impossible to stay still — a hypnotic blend of chords and pads with a whispering voice pulling you deeper into the groove.

From Switzerland, Denis Skok (https://soundcloud.com/denisskok) brings a warm analog-driven groove built around a steady pulse. The vocal works as an instrument in itself — adding texture, rhythm, and subtle call-and-response energy with the percussion.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their seminal 2005 album Staring Into Space, Glaswegian duo Silicone Soul present a Darkroom Dubs reissue featuring two pivotal remixes that helped define the album’s legacy.

Berlin’s Dirt Crew deliver a powerful rework of Inferno. Amplifying the original's deep dub foundations, they lay down an irresistible Italo-disco bassline while framing the timeless toast — 'What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his own soul?’ The result is a remix that balances spiritual gravitas with dancefloor intensity, a reminder of Dirt Crew’s signature touch during their own breakthrough years.

These remixes have been lovingly remastered by Conor Dalton (Glowcast Audio) from the original DATs, giving DJs, collectors, and new listeners a fresh chance to experience two standout reinterpretations from the Silicone Soul archive. Twenty years on, they remain as vital as ever.

The Mexico City electronic sphere continues to be a fertile ground for innovation, and Juan Harrison, known as Tkuz, consistently proves to be one of its most compelling cultivators. With his forthcoming “Volta” EP on the esteemed Kyma Komplex imprint, he adds another robust chapter to a discography already celebrated on labels like Controlla, Bonkers, and Melomana. This new collection finds Tkuz weaving together the driving energy of trance, the robust framework of techno, and the gritty textures of industrial music into a cohesive and forceful aesthetic. The package is further amplified with reworks from Ruksby (SXDNS256) and Jorge Galindo (SXDNS450), promising a well-rounded release that showcases multiple facets of his production prowess.

Directing our attention to the "High Version" of the title track, Tkuz constructs a formidable and immersive world. The foundation is a relentless, feverish rhythm section where metallic percussion clangs and reverberates with a life of its own, creating a tense, almost physical atmosphere. Into this industrial forge, he introduces fragmented, speech-like vocal snippets that act as cryptic transmissions from within the machinery. A truly brilliant counterpoint arrives in the form of a sustained, ethereal pad that drifts high above the tumult, its serene and mournful quality providing a breathtaking sense of scale and emotional depth. Álvaro Cabana has been a key figure in Madrid's club scene for more than two decades. Since taking to the turntables in the late nineties, Álvaro has played thousands of gigs, promoted hundreds of events, and held residencies at legendary venues such as Coppelia and Mondo. He now runs one of Spain’s most successful labels, Rotten City. Throughout his career, he has consistently combined his love for cosmic and italo, acid house, post punk, new wave, trance, and classic techno to create tracks aimed squarely at the dance floor.

A former vinyl dealer at Atlas Store, Cabana later channeled his expansive taste into production and curation. In 2015, he founded Rotten City Records, a label championing a psychedelic, romantic, and esoteric blend of cosmic body music. Its catalog features boundary-pushing artists such as Red Axes, Curses, Justin Robertson, Zombies In Miami, Damon Jee, Eden Burns, Elfenberg, and DS Salas.

As a producer, Cabana’s projects include D.Y.O.R. (with Christian C. and Rubén Kielmansegge) and Holographic Planes (with Damon Jee). EPs like Latinos Psicoactivos and Los Flagelantes highlight his cinematic flair and latin-infused sensibility. On his own, his discography is extensive, featuring releases and remixes on acclaimed labels such as Prins Thomas’s Internasjonal, PETS, and Trampoliner, to name a few-earning support from industry heavyweights like Dixon, Andrew Weatherall, and many more.

Leading the charge is Ewan Pearson’s electrifying remix of The Poisoner’s Diary — a masterclass in sonic transformation. Pearson channels raw new wave urgency into the original, fusing its proto-dark disco leanings with climactic synth flourishes and machine-gun claps. The result marked a creative breakthrough for Pearson and added a defining edge to Silicone Soul’s catalogue, foreshadowing the darker aesthetic that would come to shape European dancefloors.

The vocal version adds another layer of intensity with the haunting delivery of Stuart Gray (from Glasgow indie band Viva Stereo). His stark post-punk refrains narrate a chilling gothic tale of emotional unravelling — an allegory for love’s collapse.

For the first time, Endrik Schroeder and The Hacker have joined forces. Their unique sounds and styles have combined seamlessly to produce a 12” that draws on their own musical histories. The title track pulls the listener into a darkened sweaty basement, a space where neon lights leer and quivering speakers vibrate. Melting elements of new beat and rave revelry, the track is bawdy and bold. Robotic samples cut through siren blasts, clean snare rolls skidding in thick basslines and creamy breaks. Two remixes follow, both care of fellow French producer: Back From The Wave. First up is the “Breaky Remix”. Adhering to the club origins of the source material, this remake sends melodies ever higher as drums lift elated lines to the stern refrain of “Emergency”. The “Indie Remix” closes. The glowsticks are sheathed in this version, instead it is the soaring keys that are given the limelight with beats bolstered for extra bite. Three tracks set to delight and ignite dancefloors.
