Born of record collection deep dives and a longstanding friendship, the newest release on Periodica Records is ‘Electro Romantica,’ which finds Raffaele “Whodamanny” Arcella and Luca “Bop” Affatato joining together as Somachrome. The duo posit an alternative reality where the autobahn connects Detroit to New York to Napoli, and where heady electro, Hi-NRG, and post-punk grooves merge with narcotic new wave, interstellar funk, and psychedelic rock. The result is an epic adventure equally suited for dancefloor mania as it is for coastal highway cruising, with shades on and a leather jacket closed against the mysterious forces of the night. Hothouse is the first release by exciting London-based producer Blip Service. He has been experimenting with Techno and House music for the past year and has put together three dance-floor ready tracks blending atmospheric sound scapes and punchy rhythms.

Tom Nook, a nod to Animal Crossing character, is the first track which encapsulates the sense of losing yourself to swaying melodies and dream-like House on the dance-floor. Acidbath is a laid back track with a Lo-fi sounds and hints of Acid House. The last track War Cry delivers hard hitting drums and choppy vocals, still with the same dreamy signature that Blip Service has brought to this release.

Covering various classics is not uncommon in Italo Disco. Hardly a song that has not been pressed through the synth mill and spit out again with its own charm.

This is also the case with the premiere release from the label "Mattoni Pazzi" with the "Monomax Band": As the song title already reveals, you will find a reference to the Led Zeppelin classic on side A. In full 80's Italo fashion, this version is peppered with synth riffs, glittering arpeggios, a thundering DX-7 bassline and almost gothic-tinged vocals.

Side B is a remake of the remake and drifts off into the cosmic at a much higher tempo. A hypnotic repetitive bassline is underpinned with loving, oriental-inspired, lead melodies and vibrating soundscapes.
Limited to 300 copies, this 7" is a must for every vinyl lover!

Rodion and Fabrizio Mammarella are back with another precious collaboration EP since “Appennini” released in 2012 but never forgotten in the fame.
They have been like brothers for many years, and after many
collaborations, these two producers are well attuned to each other in their musical soul. Rodion and Fabrizio are both very sophisticated producers and known for their dramatic melodies, mixed with synthesized funk and disco, which turns it into emotional freaky electronic music.
All tracks are recorded in Mexico City, bringing in Mexican artist Mijo as a featuring on the track ‘’Cerro Gordo’’. Moreover, italo-belgian duo Front De Cadeaux join with a remix that grabs elements from both the original tracks, reworked in one timeless piece of music.
