Moving fluidly through EBM, darkwave, dark techno, New Beat, electro, and beyond, she crafts retro-futuristic sets with undeniable dancefloor pull. As host and curator of the club night, video podcast, and record label Strict Tempo, she has built a vibrant community by connecting underground sounds to international audiences.

Hailing from Guatemala City, Dario began his journey as a resident of DMNSNL, later co-founding the label alongside his colleague Jorge Galindo. In his debut EP, Dario captures the essence of his sound — punchy basslines, acid-infused sequences, and a refined ability to build tension and immersive atmospheres.
Two original tracks intertwine to deliver a solid and magnetic debut that reflects the identity of a producer in full creative evolution.

The experience expands with four remarkable reinterpretations by Ruksby, Jorge Galindo, Lucas Novaes, and Vleks, each bringing their own vision and reimagining the originals through distinct sonic perspectives.

The mind, unable to withstand the tension, shifts into defense. There is a need to reject the sound, to call it noise, error, or anti-music. This is not misunderstanding but a protective instinct an attempt to regain control over what cannot be classified.
Rhythm feels like mechanical violence, distortion like something alien, synthesis like aggression. Yet within this aggression lies power. “Anger” is the stage of confrontation, where inner resistance takes sonic form.
Anger becomes a point of accumulated energy, breaking old perceptual boundaries and clearing the path to the next stage.

Every artist hits a point where polish starts to feel like a cage. In Constant Evolution is Madd Rod’s way of breaking out.

His third studio album follows Sad Behaviour (Discotexas, 2023), a record that marked his transition toward something rougher, freer, and more emotionally charged. This time, Madd Rod takes that instinct to its logical conclusion: imperfection and rawness not as failure, but as a way to keep it real.

Across thirteen tracks, In Constant Evolution drifts between EBM, Electro, Indie Dance, and Krautrock with unfiltered emotion. The warmth of analog gear, the hum of room noise, and the occasional slip of timing are all left in as part of the texture: a quiet protest against overproduction packaged as an album that sounds lived-in.

As founder of Inner Shah Recordings, Madd Rod isn’t chasing perfection. He’s documenting the process of becoming. In an industry that sells the illusion of resolution, In Constant Evolution is a reminder that the cracks are where the light gets in.

Hailing from Joburg, South Africa, and now based in Bristol, UK, Lo Chi is DJ and producer carving out a unique space in the realms of bass music and techno. His sound, defined by deep sub-bass, sharp textures and dark atmospheres, showcases a mastery of syncopation and hypnotic rhythms. With contemporaries like Henry Greenleaf, Sub Basics and Javano, along with support from influential figures such as Lamont or Yak, Lo Chi is an artist deserving greater recognition in the current electronic music landscape.

“Dead Man’s Switch” marks Lo Chi’s sophomore EP and his debut solo release on Dead Trax, following contributions to the label’s various artists compilations. Featuring 5 original cuts that range from 120 to 130 BPM, DDTX005 is a testament to his creativity and versatility, reflecting the innovative spirit of Bristol’s underground sound.

In Lo Chi’s words, “this EP concludes some moments within my continued practice in production; Some inspired by trips to Berlin’s club scene, some galvanised by mid winter days inside with cyclical rhythm. Each track feels to be a principal example of its palette, extended over 6 years. Love to Henry, Ed, Dean, Benji and Tony for their continued faith.”

The San Francisco-England rave connection has always been strong from the early days when several English rave crews moved to and influenced the US city with an already strong history of dance music. This new offering from @RoamRecordings carries on that tradition by bringing together English producers @Hereticuk (aka Timothy Clerkin whose dark and rugged stylings can be heard on labels such as Nein, Porn Wax, and Throne of Blood) + @Buran_uk (the more dance floor focused project from the former Big Mister Doom aka Ian Scott and Joe Wretham) with San Francisco’s finest Jason Kendig of Honey Soundsystem and the acid duo and Chicago transplants Secret Studio (Tyrell Williams and Bryan Balli). 

Once restricted to vinyl this release is now available in digital formats. To mark the occasion the digital version also comes with a brand new italo twinged rework of Fractal from the venerable @JustinRobertson-deadstock
