‘Muy Duro’ flagship V/A series returns this year with his volumen 6, music from new and old souls around the world. Le Dame Noir’s Arthur Johnson give you the entrance ticket with "31SPCIAL", a locomotive ride loaded with a bouncy bass, steady percussions and sharp cymbals that drive you to the peak. It is followed by Cornelius Doctor’s "Zsa Zsa Can't Don't Cry", a metallic and playful percussion with a mix of unhinged and liberating synthesizers.

Changing the semblance are ID_UA & Berny with "Tutta La Notte", a broken beat cut. Its hypnotizing synths will make you descend into the deepest and sweltering of the night, the point where you never want to see the sunlight again. Colossio's "Regios", is the perfect soundtrack to transport you to the multidimensional plane where you don't know if there will be a return accompanied by wild and nutty gnomes or your entrance to the psychiatric. Guitar and synthesizer riffs that when entering the center of your head hypnotize you, distorting your neurons and reality.

To close the compilation is Alvaro Cabana’s "Adventures Under The Dome", ironically inspired by all the theories that circulate today about the "dome" that covers the flat earth. A mix of sounds that could be defined as Robot Disco and Trippy Bleepy Fun, alluding to the fact that no matter if the earth is round, square or an infinite multidimensional plane, we could choose to go through this life with the intention of not stopping to have adventures and positive experiences.

PREMIERE - Lunatic Wonderer - Effortless Understanding (Eastern Standard)

Summer heat is here and with it the eighth installment of Duro’s international groove compilation "Muy Duro". For this volumen the Mexican record label dig music from Lithuania's Monk Ernie, a seductive collaboration between Time To Sleep & Local Suicide. The first manifestation from Israeli, Ido Morali. The debut of Moisees & ZEA in the VA series, and to close the compilation, a collaboration from TAU’s duo, Dominik Marz & Radial Gaze.

The opener is "Canned Shoes" by Monk Ernie, a fresh and vigorous cut with a rogue percussion section, a big funky bass line, a melting electric guitar, wacky arpeggio synthesizers and cooling pads. It’s followed by "I Unfollow", the collaboration between the Croatian Time To Sleep and Berlin based lovely duo, Local Suicide. Seductive melodies, tight drums and phantasmagoric voices lead you through the whole track. From Israel comes Ido Morali with "Mondo3000", a pushing bass kick blended with dozed vocoders and acid sound that sweeps the reality expansion into a hypnotic experience.

Next up is "Wasen" by Moisees and ZEA, a track inspired by DMT trips and Japanese fishing boats. A Strong and mind-blowing cut, oriental instruments, psychedelic synthesizers, and rumble drums drive you to the zurna's break. To close the compilation is "Error 707" by Dominik Marz & Radial Gaze, an epic cut manufactured with powerful drums and beautiful synthesizers, an electric shocks rain.

Another day, another Doug, another compilation: This time from the respected Italian label Engrave Ltd curated by Musumeci and Dodi Palese. The “Vol. 4” of their VA series builds up a complex texture of sonorities by featuring themes that range from trippy and atmospheric to bouncing and frivolous made with love and ingenuity by a competent selection of both young and seasoned talents from across the globe: Aikon, Alphadog & Ariel Vromen, Cardillo DJ & Tuchenzio, Djoole & Sam Farsio, Enes Çakir & Samet Gunal, Evans, Melodisch, Nico Morano, Th3 Oth3r & Luke Garcia, and Tomper. Hailing from Argentina, Spain, England, UAE, Turkey, Israel, Ukraine, Belgium… the plural origin and background of the artists safely guarantee a rich and intricate soundscape for the bold 10-track release.

Premiered here, Evans’ contribution to the party comes wrapped in a smooth and melodic synth blanket, something extremely characteristic in his works. The Sheffield-based artist, since the beginning of his producer career in 2009, has been devoting himself to delivering high-quality Deep & Progressive House Music and has appeared on vital labels of the kind such as Viva Music, Fear Of Flying, Dilate, Supernature, Bedrock, Radikon, Stil Vor Talent, and now Engrave Ltd, just to name a few.

From Mexico we are happy to have once again on the house Alex Garcia aka @Vleksmusic. After the successful release of HEAR0046 - ‘Dime Que Si’ under the name of Los Dvtsuns with his buddy Adan Aradillas, we welcome Vleks to HEARec with HEAR0058 - Rasho EP.

HEAR0058 is a two original tracks, Rasho - featuring Cali Burton from Logia Records - Purpura, and a powerful remix from the Mexican Roliva.

The EP distills from the artist’s moto “Rock meets Techno” melting EBM and gothic inspirations with powerful bass lines and guitar action, evocative vocals, the whole packed in a twirling and dancing atmosphere.

The track is a nice disposal of collaborative and complementing styles between the two producers. The baseline chords guide the listener during the whole track, layering electronic and dance elements and the vocals that prepare the listener for a grooving drop.

Penumbras is a new remix EP by Utopyk & El Fulminador. The original version, a dark slow jam with sax melodies and Spanish vocals, has been previously released on Fulmen Records as part of the album “2011”.

This EP also contains 4 alternative versions, remixed by K-Effect, Ands Mega and El Fulminador. K-Effect from Spain has an instrumental approach with solid drumming and dark evolving soundscapes. Ands Mega from Mexico increases the BPM rate with a deep and hypnotic interpretation. El Fulminador “Noche” and “Mar” remixes go in different directions, with distinct instrumentation and harmonies, but keeping consistency.
