We are rather delighted to welcome one of our favourite DJ duos to the ITI mix series! Milanese gentlemen, and now full-time Berliners, Younger Than Me have been on our radar tearing up dance-floors and releasing fantastic productions for a couple of years, with their remix of I'll Never Reach Your Level by Shun being a standout highlight in the ITI back catalogue! 

The boys treat us to an hour of electronic rumblings from the (much missed) dance-floor, touching on classic breakbeat, acid, techno, rave, house etc.. all the while with that inimitable YTM flair.

Returning to Not An Animal for the first time in 3 years, Ian Blevins crashes in with a massive EP that results in some dreamy electronica primed for the dance. 

The Lobster Who Was Criminally Insane loads up the A1 with a track that veers towards the progressive house formula, whilst building on the more natural electronic blueprints. It’s rigorous and deadly, as synths build the pressure and detonate with devastating effects. 

Discodromo make their NAAR debut with a destructive remix of The Lobster Who Was Criminally Insane. Stripping the track down and driving it down a more percussive avenue, the leads melodies are used to create an immense breakdown with epic results.

Air Penguin carries on the same vibe as a refined mid-set floor filler, with an illustrious canopy of dreamy synths and counter melodies that rattle subs across the globe. 

Chida finishes off the 12" with his welcome return to the label with another remix that does the damage. Bringing the more offensive elements of the track, it takes the atmosphere and runs with it, adding some immense tension but remaining focused on the floor.

To close, The Lobster Who Was Criminally Insane (Beatless Mix) serves as the digital bonus, showing how a track can be made for the dance-floor without any percussion.

JIN's 2nd EP storms out the gate with Hong Kong's finest Mr. Ho. The Klasse Wreck's head honcho boss drops three originals. 

A1 "Holy Smokes" is a slow-motion, acid-flavored chugger, making one feel like snake-rolling through Hong Kong's urban jungle. B1 "Emo Springs" blends futuristic jungle, tribal, house, and juicy basslines into a must-get dance floor heater. The EP finishes off with B3 : " Not Good With Others" - a no BS bassy and bossy track, swings with a filthy kick from the get-go.

Added are two sonic-weapon-remixes: 
On A2 UK OG duo Dawl & Sween hits all the cylinders with vinyl-only, mean breakbeat banger remix of "Holy Smokes." On B2 with Hong Kong's 宀 Club's music curator Sunsiaré running "Emo Spring" through an electrifying old school jungle reshape, leaving all buzzed by his sonic assault.

After Altamont is the band alias of Stavros Potamitis & Constantinos Parisinos, a project that focusses on a blend of psychedelic rock, Greek folk influences, soulful dub and dark tinged techno, with the main creative focus relying on analog machines, live instrumentation and recorded vocals. Following the original release of the 2016 “An Animal Orchestra”, this psychedelic album is re-imagined by a collection of artists and friends who focus on a slower, hypnotic, more transcendental grooves. MR TC starts of the remix pack with a majestic version of Scoring for Fools. Tolouse low Trax experiments with vocal samples, silence and slow percussions to conjure a trademark dark, devilish recreation of Three Men Down. A Strange Wedding takes us to alien outer space with his version of “Scoring for Fools”. Gina Breeze and Zombies in Miami provide us with more club ready re-imaginations of “K Band feat Shawni” and “Lost Little Girl feat Fiona McMartin”. The album comes to a close with an ethnic, psy-trance trademark Anatolian Weapons remix.
