Daniel Kyo - Camí De Pinedo

Jakarta based Jonathan Kusuma delivers a new EP on Cocktail d’Amore Music. After his European debut on Cosmo Vitelli’s I’m A Cliché, followed by a successful EP on Berlin’s imprint Love On The Rocks, the Indonesian artist keeps carrying the vessel of the Far East sound.  
The title track Black Magic is a fat disco-tribal inspired groove that builds fast, eventually climaxing with a cloud of acid synths and mystical vocals. 
Japanese duo Mascaras, Chida and Cos/Mes’ 5ive, straighten up the groove giving a 4/4 beats restyling. The result is a Proto-Techno, Trance influenced soundscape, for foggy late-night dancefloors. 
Urban Sorcery is an Italo inspired maze of proto-acid synthesizers, sounding like an enchanted concrete-covered forest.                 
90’s house inspired Redvox is an experiment of cosmic influences. As the vocal becomes part of the groove, the long pads fuel this spaceship pushing it to the borders of time and space.

When you are on top of a building in Manhattan and a diety appears before your eyes and you are wearing a backpack with enough nuclear charge to blow up the whole city and said diety asks if you are a god...  just say no, tell them you are ½ GOTT.

Uncanny Valley have been prolific this year and once again are on hand to deliver yet another killer which is more industrial than a cybernetic organism travelling back in time to invade your dancefloor and give you a hammer to dance to. This is music.

PREMIERE | ½ GOTT - Die Nacht [Uncanny Valley] 2018

Modernphase comeback (Gameboyz/Comolasgrecas/Melomana Records) to Shara Music, with this Remixed pack, of his great mini Ep, called “Píntate los labios que nos vamos de after”. For this Ep he choose artists who could give a new fresh version of their acclaimed work, supported by Andrew Weatherall.
The first remix is signed by a regular on the label, the Mexican Tkuz. With his acid sound so characteristic and effective, which it has taken him to suitcases of artists like The Hacker. This great producer marked an indispensable remix, with a taste, clearly psychedelic, perfect for the dance floors. He is accompanied by other compatriots and one of the favorites of the label, Zombies in Miami bring under the arm, a industrial cut, with a well marked breaks and a 90s stuff, trippy and timeless. For “Tira pal baño” the chosen artist has been the french Mila Dietrich, creating a electro track where a fat baseline, advances along the track while the darkness and excellent production reminds us of that sound that at the beginning of the century marked a time.
The following artists of the fourth remix, are the spanish Two Mamarrachos, performing an impeccable work with the vocals, where the break drums and industrial flavour, are again the main key of the remix. The fifth remix is run by a new guys on the block, called Moowen. They sign a remix without complexes, where the uncompromising groove of a 808 joins forces to a powerful Moog bassline, in a progressive track of “A que hora cierra”. Finally the artists in charge to close the remix Ep are Ali X & Ximena, these guys make a beat directly to the dance floor, elegant and amazing produced.

After a long wait we can now announce that a new 12 inch will be out on Rotten City Records with a newer version of the original (previously released in Born bad Records), plus 2 brand new remixes from the infamous Marvin & Guy and the Franco-Spanish duo Holographic Planes, formed by no others than Damon Jee and label owner Alvaro Cabana.

Following their debut release of revulx’s self-titled EP, Montreal based label @cosmictonesrecords is set for its second release later this month. Montreal Pleiades is an EP long in the making, featuring tracks from six separate producers from across Canada’s underground scene. Ura-Dust, @mattsalaciak, @priori-ties, @duste1, @Bunzinelli, and @richardwenger all feature on this collection of spacey, dubbed out tracks. While each track brings its own flavor to the table, each selection features the peculiar textures and sounds which define the Cosmic Tone aesthetic. 

Having designed the album artwork himself, Bunzinelli’s B2 track “Hyperloop” is easily one of the standouts. Jumping right into the almost jungle-acid bassline alongside an IDM breakbeat, the track thrusts itself forward with dreamy pads and an additional low end groove to accent the rhythm section. Each element occupies its own particular space, working with each other to keep a clean and clear mix. With everything else drenched in reverb and hollowed out, the drums cut through and punch above the rest. Minimal synth melodies delay and drift into the background as the beat continues to twist and shift with fills and breaks. It’s a heady workout for warming up the floor at the start of a long night.

PREMIERE: Bunzinelli - Hyperloop

It had been raining incessantly for months now, the streets seemed desolate as if the locals had abandoned them, opting instead for the safety of their own homes. The sky was eternally overcast and gloomy, but in downtown the bright neon signs of the shops lit up the neighbourhood in fluorescent pinks, blues and greens. Here, the mood was different, the people were hopeful. In swathes, the inhabitants walked the vibrantly illuminated streets, filling them with laughter and enthusiastic chitchat. There was no point mourning, life was too short for that. 

Slow Motion's sister label Wrong Era welcome Pardon Moi to the family AKA Berlin-based duo James Brook and Thomas Freudenthal. The pair produce three original tracks of new wave aimed directly at the dance floor - our favourite is label manager Franz Scala's Italo twist on the title track.

On its third release, @Deviant-Disco-1 continues to dig up lesser known gems of various origins with a hot batch of four brand new edits. The French rarities label sticks to its peculiar aesthetics and welcomes you once again to an enthralling musical trip — starting with Tchamy Patterson’s groovy & percussive afrobeat only to spiral into Barnes' and Ygalove's hypnotic The Mongol Raid slow-mo trance edit and steering from La Décadanse's tropical and sensual rework of vintage hit Amazoniaque all the way down to Éric Vincent's obscure 80s French erotica.

'The Mongol Raid' is the result of Deviant Disco's new beat connoisseur Ygal Ohayon (@trashdisco) aka Ygalove teaming up with mysterious producer Barnes (from Barnes & Wobble). Ygal bumped into a trancy, unmarked german white label from the 90s ; he pulled the age-old 'oops — wrong speed' 33 RPM trick and waited for Barnes to come along with his magic scissors. With the cheeky addition of an oriental synth going properly bananas, their collaboration gave rise to this entirely rebuilt, borderline industrial tune. A wholesome slow trance monster!Release

ИДА(@idasound) — record label from Moscow, which grew up from the local club night responsible for bringing to Moscow artists like Chaos In The CBD, Fantastic Man, Mehmet Aslan, DJ Boring, Borrowed Identity, DJ Octopus, Steve Murphy, Adesse Versions, Kornel Kovacs, Jacques Renault and making parties in prominent Moscow venues like Denis Simachev Bar, Science and Art, Propaganda, Powerhouse, etc.

ИДА(@idasound) is known for its eclectic approach and music tastes varying from disco to techno, house to rave, afro to breakbeat and so on and that leads to an unusual and sometimes unpredictable new sound in the result. Their next release welcomes Rambal Cochet(@volta-cab) from Saint-Petersburg, the alter-ego of Volta Cab. He provides 3 original rave hymns and each of them re-interpreted containing remix duties from "Aristidez" from Lima providing a perfect ethereal revision for the ‘The Great Solar War’, while "Panorama Channel" provides a tough new beat version of the title track "Celebral Plumbing" and Panks revisits his trippy sound on the ‘Bulbulous Swirl’. The "Bulbulous Swirl” carries slowed goa trance vibe and psychedelic feel moving listener’s body on the dancefloor, while his mind flies to another dimension.

PREMIERE - Rambal Cochet - Bulbulous Swirl (ИДА)

Edit Service is proud to present its 6th release, this time featuring Youkounkoun, a duo comprising of Jeff Lasson of Get A Room and Gaëtan Rossi. 

After releasing on Multi Culti edits and Edits du Plaisir, the duo delivers a mini-LP with a diverse range of tempos and moods, from dancefloor-friendly cuts to weirder tracks with Gallic oddities, Dutch new wave, Spanish minimal wave and experimental Iranian music used as the source material. The unsettling post-punk, industrial and mutant kraut energy in those tracks could not be further removed from lazy run-of-the-mill disco edits. In true digger spirit, Youkounkoun picks tracks never edited before and painstakingly re-arranges them by adding a lot of additional production to completely transform these tracks for the dancefloor. The digital files for this LP will be officially released 6 months after the vinyl record is out. 

About Metallic Waves: 
With a much more synthetic feel than the rest of the record’s hybrid offerings, this tune immediately stands out with its heavy and compelling groove, where eerie voices and a flurry of uncanny sounds create a strange and disorienting effect to which the most appropriate response seems to start dancing.
