Exclusive: Credit 00 - Save The Forest!

Alexander Dorn, better known as Credit 00, returns to Uncanny Valley to release his No More Sad Trance EP, a four tracker highlighting the artist’s musical extravaganza as well as love of experimentation when it comes to own productions and therefore consists out of a conglomerate of sounds and influences reaching from Jungle, Garage over to Trance and 90s Pop and more. Save The Forest!, the last track on the EP, shows signs of Trance-typical sounds with slight 90s nuances put over a lush bass line. Wobbling chords, slight Acid bleeps and short Break-esque round off the track making one musically dive into the rain forest as the before mentioned sounds create not only the atmosphere of it but also deliver an approach for a visualization of the scenery.

We are thrilled to introduce @johnpatter to the label. The Vilnius-based  DJ / producer brings forth three original tracks, each offering a unique sonic journey into leftfield territory.
Opening the EP is 'The Risk,' a captivating blend of beautiful melodies and a heavy bassline, tailor-made for a peak-time frenzy. Following suit is the title track, 'Uneven Accents,' a breakbeat-driven monster that keeps listeners on their toes with every twist and turn. Rounding off the originals is 'In Front of the Eyes,' a track that slows down the tempo and ventures into deeper, chuggier territories.
In addition to these originals, label head Facets makes a triumphant return with a remix of 'The Risk,' injecting the track with heightened tempo and energy.

'Uneven Accents' is set to be released on May 3rd.

From the vaults of the underground, label homies Nuclear Digital Transistor come back for more with the new EP “DISCOS CASSETTES”.In this new “entrega” the duo from Bogotá, showcases their dubbest and cacophonous work to date.

The homonymous first track stretches the tights between indie and electro with a monotonous tight analogue bassline strong enough to blend between discordant synthesizers, distorted vocals and noise. Beautiful entrance to a night rave.

Rotos, the second instance, begins with an already characteristic polyrhythmic bass driving us through space while chanting the mantra “Rotos, estamos rotos” in the look for spiritual revival through an acid lead. Leather heater.

The last track of the EP surprises not only for being a twist of the original mix but for giving the EP a band track with more lyrics, new synths and a breakbeat that lasts 2:44.

There is no stop for NDT and this EP is a clear way forward for what’s yet to come.

NIKKNAME's focus when making music is to reflect the emotions he feels in response to his environment. He works across deep house, melancholic ambient and moody disco on labels like this one and Free ride Millenium and always evolves with each new outing. Now living in Vienna, he is a core part of the scene with his 80000 Radio show on Res Radio Vienna and has also been involved with some acclaimed art exhibitions in the city.

His return to Live At Robert Johnson kicks off with 'Wind & Fairies,' a moody five-minute synth suspense with sustained, foggy chords pierced only by twinkling arps and cautious strings that speak of heading off on an adventure into the unknown. The brilliant 'Rot' then layers up rugged and rumbling bass with bleeping synth sequences that make for a late-night trip through a deserted landscape. Last of all is the most direct and punchy cut 'Crossover'. It's a synth-laced disco and house fusion with crashing hits and smeared pads all journeying next to a searching cosmic lead.

Limitlessun recordings is ready to set sail once again amongst the crashing waves of the dance floor, with founder Miles Ellis serving up his forte of four cuts of razor sharp, rhythmically hypnotic techno.

Inspired by the pioneering electronic sounds of 90s Chicago, Detroit and NYC, Ellis has carved out a pulsating sound that tantalises the senses and enriches the rhythms found in all of us. With memorable releases on labels such as Rhythm Control, Sense Traxx, Prozpektiva and Integrity, in 2019 Ellis founded Limitlessun, which has become his primary vessel for serving up expertly conceived dance music.

‘Under Surveillance’ is his latest offering, and from the word go the deft blend of groove and subtle melodies do much to get the night going. The title track unravels first, with deep set bass tones and thick drumming patterns providing space for a series of soft yet emphatic chords to shift up above. ‘There is no try, only do’ is characterised by more densely layered melodic and bass sequences, with the two converging at all the right moments in order to shift perspectives - and keep the groove going on.

‘Work on this Saturday’ provides a rich bounty of flavours, with the chiming melodic tones capturing the attention whilst the drums underneath pulsate with energy - the hi hats really given a work out on this one. Wrapping things up is ‘Beats me, gotta light?’, which draws focus to the intense drumming patterns, celebrating their richness and intricacies. The melodic hums from the deep craft an atmosphere that ensnares, as the reveler gives themselves over to the dance.

This EP provides the perfect soundtrack to the time where energies are released, built up to the edge then allowed to spill over into pure euphoria. It's a motif which Miles Ellis has made his own, and this new record of his packs a mighty punch. Perhaps this will be playing at a packed dance floor near you in the future….
