Maya Danon releases her first full E.P. called Mad Hatter on Relish. It includes 3 originals and remixes by Autarkic and Marc Piñol.
After over 10 years in the experimental electronic scene of Tel Aviv, Maya was drawn into the world of dance music and soon enough she released her debut track Dazed on Relish. Dazed and the tracks that followed have a unique and fresh sound that was influenced by the adventurous electronic musicians of the 70's (Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, Can and others), new wave of the 80's, and the electronic pioneers that bended waves for a living.
The E.P. tracks are expressive and yet very club oriented. Mad Hatter, the title track, patiently builds up an anticipation, hi-hats blend with minimal synth motives till the point where they meet the bass and the tension breaks into a groovy discoish vibe. Nina has some reminders of that dream in the shape of a spacey synth motive, but it's a different place now, a solid one where the bass is warm and the rhythm is cold. Waiting for Simon gives a strong feeling of longing for some unknown Simon, with those airy synths wrapped with dreamy hats and rythmic noises.
The first remix is by Autarkic and he turns it into a twisted funky 808 version, adding plenty of cowbell and vocals. Marc Piñol strips it to the bone adding a murderous kick that drives through his version.

One year after his stunning debut on Relish with the aptly named Klub Psycho, French London-based dj/producer Mondowski is back with a new ep: Surfin Hell.
The eponymous track unrolls a mesmerizing technoid slo-mo psychedelia suffused with acid elements paralleling an out-of-space surf rock guitar riff which finally morphs into a Morriconesque western soundtrack clip. While Headman aka Insinna reworks the original track into a late nite club anthem, Sébastien Chenut, one half of Scratch Massive, takes us even further back in time with a brilliant dance-floor oriented remix which tapes into a distinctly eighties New Wave melancholia. Mondowski's second new track, Delok, turns out to be a totally different matter plunging deep into the uncompromising depths of leftfield club electronica. In short, full blast!

This time, in a quest to reinterpret his childhood rave days into a musical story, he has taken the old fashioned elements he still likes and takes them to new directions. Fueled by gated chords, dreamy arpeggios, trippy vocals, and percussions these tracks are destined to take you back into the past and bring you right back to the present. We have chosen Man power’s unconventional approach of this EP’s lead track “Cowbells and Temples” which will be released by @Feinestier.

This 3 track EP offers us an insight into Max Jones's approach to sound designing and music offering. Possessing a background from film scores, this EP is a cinematic drama with melodic groove and celestial stylings.

"Golden Days" is the late completion of Ethimm’s EP trilogy on Light of Other Days and it continues exactly where the group left off 4 years ago. What started as the groups signature "tension music“, oscillating between dark repetition and moody improvisations is slowly morphing into a production style that features a heavy pop sensibility infused with conciliatory optimism. The opener and title track of the EP recounts the meeting of a new lover in an autumn sunset. Starting with dreamy piano chords, a rhythmic bass and handclaps, it provides a beautiful musical backdrop for Tizi’s longing voice. During the course of the track, modulating synths and plucked guitars join her vocals as she sings about the "Golden Days“ spent with her lover. Over & Out starts off in typical Ethimm fashion. Dubbed guitars, minimal beats and a sparse piano melody sets the tone for Elisabeth Thimm’s fragile vocal. In "Over & Out" Elisabeth negotiates her wish for freedom and how she  breaks with her daily constraints. Albeit initially being drained in melancholy, the track ends on a musically hopeful note when a beautiful chord progression  suddenly appears, colliding with an extended synth solo from outer space. On "Echoes in the Distance" , glorious arpeggios accompany a sophisticated  303-style bass line and haunting vocals. The track follows one of Elisabeth’s  dreams into a frantic, nondescript, deserted backdrop and slowly morphes  into the most ecstatic piece of the EP. The multi-layered arrangement combined with Ethimm’s yearning voice on top, sound like about 3 tracks seamlessly sticked together. The track ends in pure ecstasy and the listener  is left with the exciting feeling of wanting more. The EPs ﬁnale is made up of the hopeful and minimalistic "Day by Day", a  track reminiscent of the balearic pop from the 1980's. Gracefully and drained in beachside sunshine, Ethimm reminds us not to waste our days with unnecessary actions and focus on the beautiful small things in life.

Robi Insinna is a Producer, DJ, Visual Artist and INDUSTRIA and RELISH owner.

Back in 2001 he founded the seminal Relish label in direct response to a then-dominant sound in club music. Its catalogue is as vast as it is varied and foreshadowing the music he'd go on to make himself under Headman/Manhead. Some highlights are IT ROUGH, Birth School Work Death, in the early years for the newer period tracks such as Be Loved, Dechainee. He also was busy remixing the likes of Roxy Music, The Gossip, Franz Ferdinand, The Units, Unknown Cases, Gina X and many more.
Relish has also been busy releasing international talents and remixes such as Daniel Avery, Red Axes, Borusiade, Manfredas.


Fast forward to 2018 he's on the move again launching new Project label, Industria with - not quite an album, not quite an EP - Hard Work. The debut was released under Robi's own name.
Industria will be focused more on vinyl releases, but not solely vinyl. The project will encompass all areas of Robi's work and ties together elements of his art and visual design projects and products.
