1. Who are you ?
I am Ned aka. Tech Support, based in London, UK.

2. How did you discover this track ?
I was going through a discogs rabbit hole when I found it, it was very easy to find but quite underrated.

3. Why do you choose to edit it ?
There are some parts I really like about the song, but overall I found the structure to be quite messy, and at points a little jarring, so I cut out the parts I didn't like and beefed up the good bits!

4. What are your next plans?
My next release is my track 'Idyll Illusion' on Semi Delicious alongside Demi Requisimo, Baby Rollen, Harry Oscillate & Gallegos, out 26.11.21!

Vito Roccoforte and Gabriel Andruzzi – AKA Mother Of Mars are BACK, this time featuring the luxuriant vocal delights of Satomi Matsuzaki.

Vito and Gabe are best known as members of era-defining NY post punkers The Rapture and continue their tradition of angular yet danceable, hooky yet challenging musical output with brand new EP, Harmonium Detector.

Title track, Harmonium Detector, is based on the concept of breaking up with your cellphone - something Vito has attempted in the past, with limited success! It showcases Satomi’s lush vocals, transporting the listener to a world of rapturous electronic elation. Its intricate layers of rhythm create a unique and mesmerising listening experience that will have you bopping on the spot in no time at all.

We've enlisted the talents of two incredible remixers to put their spin on the original too. First up is Max Pask, who delivers a disco workout of a remix that adds a new dimension to the original. With his expert ear, he’s teased out parts from the MoM version to create a true disco behemoth - this mix is going to be burning up dance floors all over the world.

Next, Hologram Teen's Espresso ESP Remix takes it in a House-ier direction, with its bouncy, energetic sounds, squelchy bassline and vocodered vocals. Morgane (previously of seminal French Avant-Popsters, Stereolab) has created something truly experimental, yet thoroughly dance-able here, invoking shades of Laurie Anderson.

Finally, the Harmonium Decorum (Edit), provides an ephemeral, radio-friendly version of the original track that still retains its pulsating, fun energy

Having featured on the Riviera Disco compilation series it’s time that Donald Dust returns to Bordello. This time the Scottish artist is back with a five track EP in the form of Nausea. Bending ideas and styles, the Edinburgh producer serves up a sample strewn, italo-infected grenade. Clean chords and percussion are sullied by hoarse vocals as arpeggiators grind and growl. Drum patterns stagger and stumble in the bleary eyed house-streaked “Sick Your Own Mix” of the original. The listener is never sure where Mr Dust is going to take them with influences and surprises coming in equal measure. “Noise in the Stairwell” is an electro stalker, bolts juttering and jangling in this work of vocoder-scented giallo funk. The styles continue to be melted into new sound forms on the flip with two versions of Jupiter Jack. The “Groove Mix” takes the staccato stabs of new beat and supercharges them with punishing percussion and a good helping of dancefloor devilment. Leading us in to the wee hours of the after, the “Jupiter Mix” leans on the darker tones and rusted up rhythms for a final body jack before the realisation that work starts in eight hours.

'Panthera returns to Bordello, their identity still shrouded in secrecy. Following on from the four tracks of Synthesizer Hits, this unknown entity is back with a further quarter for Synthesizer Hits Vol. 2. Rich melodies and pulsing percussion characterise the infectious “Demon”. Key shifts and samples linger as textured toms and crisp snares keep the energy high. The tempo lowers for the considered “Stallion”. Bright and hopeful bars ascend before breaking to shimmering dawn. The juddering arpeggios and drum rolls of “Newlook” draw us back to the dancefloor. Melodies glow overhead in this celestial composition. The finale is steeped in the unforgettable tradition of italo. A heartwarming tribute to spaghetti dance, Panthera delivers an addictive rift, sparking synthwork and rhythms that are crisp. A perfect end by an artist who is garnering deserved attention amongst the faithful.'
