Following INVŌKER’s ‘Superhero’, When We Dip XYZ is proud to present ‘The Chaos Inside’ from Imeïa, who has already been spotlighted on imprints such as Isolate, Frau Blau and Sum Over Histories. On this EP, the enigmatic producer blends impactful grooves, uncharacteristic delays, poignant textures and creative use of silence.

Things start off with ‘Le Pire Pour La Fin’, a deep cut which is led by a slow, drawn-out melody which recedes in favour of the bassline and noise-heavy plucks.
 
The eponymous ‘The Chaos Inside’ brings the energy levels a few notches up. The layered pad and choir initiate a progression of epic proportions over the simple, driving groove. The impacts, risers and glitches all accentuate this feeling of immensity. 

On ‘Elegancia’, the doubled kicks and resounding vocals set the scene for the larger than life lead synth. A subtle acid touch on the bass completes the tune. 

The last track, ‘Blue Romance’ displays the clearest vocals we’ve seen from Imeïa so far. The line ‘I don’t wanna be a fool, I just wanna be a tool’ is repeated throughout the intro and outro. A screaming guitar announces the highlight of the tune, with its uplifting bass pattern and toy-like percussions. An alternate dub mix is also available.

Sincopat extends a warm embrace to the return of Mr. Morek, this time accompanied by Stas Drive, presenting a tremendous and tasteful EP. To round off this musical journey, Alican delivers an impressive remix of perfect precision.
Our journey begins with the opening chapter called Nano, a composition that lives up to its diminutive name. From the very beginning, it grabs the audience with its hypnotic synthesizers and percussions, taking them on a stormy journey through a spectrum of state of mind.
Alican's Remix fits and enhances the release in a very special way, with a different color palette than the original, the artist reinterprets the original song with a perfect simplicity of execution that is very catchy.
Next up is Vortex, where haunting vocal textures and dynamic shifts grab us from the very start. Demonstrating the artists' skillful fusion of influences, the track blossoms into lush and harmonious sound effects, weaving a sonic playscape that captivates the soulful senses.

Vini has released on labels such as Sum Over Histories, Rebellion and Moodmusic, showcasing his undeniable talent and musical prowess, which this new 4-track EP further confirms... 

Title track 'Electric Dance' is a real earworm; 'I'll Be There' sounds like it should be in a film score about a crime thriller in outer space. 'Dream' is a ‘crossroads’ record - take your pick whether to relax and unwind, or get the night going with a firm kickstart - it really is the best of both worlds; whilst fourth track, 'No Pretend’, delivers a unique sound of musical fusion and creative production for a suitable finale. 

As is expected with Vini, the EP as a whole is an intimate and sophisticated affair with delicate and careful mixes.
