Follow Me PuPu

Recording live Oktober 2010 bareng Dimas (Bass), Pre (Drum) dan Bunbun (Gitar). Ngejam iseng, hasil recordingnya ancur wkwkw... 

Berhubung sekarang lagi belajar mixing n mastering, 3 thn kemudian, today... lagu Ola-ola ini gatel juga diotak atik... biar jernih, balance, menyatu... trus vocalnya aku kasih efek model autotune.

Vocalnya mengalami permak sana sini, pake fitur Flexi Pitch di Logic Pro X, juga Pitch Correction yg aku setting extreme sampai menimbulkan efek seperti autotune tadi.

Sangat sulit karena suara instrument lain bocor ke mic, gk bisa diilangin heuhue... maklum waktu jamming iseng gk niat recording bagus. Dan seperti biasa, liriknya belum ada :p

Sedangkan anak2 spontan jamming, aransemen terserah mereka... reggae tapi ala sind3ntosca :p

Sooo... mudah2an hasil mixing n masteringnya enak, dan bisa dinikmati. Enjoy :)

Lagu "parodi" PEMILU ini sebenarnya udah lama dibuat pake Cakewalk di tahun 1997, cuma baru sekarang dibagusin di Logic Pro X dgn plugin yg mantap2... gara2 pesta pemilu 9 Juli 2014 yang kian heboh dan panas... tampaknya butuh sebuah soundtrack yang rada hingar bingar hahahah... tapi jangan lama-lama, makanya lagunya sebentar aja :p

Lagi batuk... uhuk-uhuk, tapi coba cover lagu The Cranberries - Go Your Own Way, yang mereka cover dari Fleetwood Mac. Jadi aku mengcover lagu coveran = cover kuadrat hahahah :p This song is AMAZING... semangat :)

Take awal secara Live gitar ama vocal, lalu bbrp bagian vocal diganti karena ada batuknya hahaha... trus ditambah melodi dan bass, semua ditake pake Roland GR-55 + Logic Pro X. Mic nya lagi pake Shure PG-58 bukan Samson C-01 yang biasa dipake.

Sedikit info, lagu Sebatas Teman versi 2005 dibikin di Fruity Loops 4.1.2 di PC jadul dgn prosesor AMD Sempron 2200+, HDD Maxtor 20GB dgn 7 buah bad sector :p Ram cuma 128MB kwkw...  mic 15 rebuan dan speaker Altec Lansing 221. Drum sample blm pake BFD, masih yg per channel satu2 drum part, manual, ribet bgt bikinnya hahah :p

Sementara Sebatas Teman versi 2015 direkam dan dimixing pake Logic Pro X di iMac mid 2011, Drum sample dah pake BFD3 ditrigger pake Roland TD-4 yg dimainkan Additional Player (Frey Celo), mic Samson C-01, Speaker Monitor Alesis M1Active 520, efek gitar Roland GR-55, dll. Masih Work in Progress.

Cover ini sebenernya proyekan lama, sekitar oktober 2013, aku sempet bikin video sneak peek nya disini https://youtu.be/r5ozCeG9-I8. Cuma waktu itu aku keburu sakit huehue... lama 3 bulan. Pas mau nerusin, moodnya udah galau wkwkwk :p Padahal udah sekitar 80% beres.

Baru 30 April 2015 bisa beresin, nambah bass dan kibor dikit. Aku agak hati2 ngeraciknya, so far kerasa masih simple... tapi kalo tambah ini itu takutnya malah rame jadi rusak... so, anggap aja ini Work In Progress.

Tapi drum tracknya hasil teknologi canggih Logic Pro X, dia punya artificial intelligent hoho... aku cuma ngedirect, plugin drumnya maen sendiri termasuk fill in nya.  I hope you like it :) Enjoy :)

These are early preview of upcoming sind3ntosca album... the vocal is not final, it's there just for reference only.

I played all the drums on my Roland TD-4 via MIDI to Logic Pro 9 and BFD2. This is my first "real" serious recording on a drum... i'm not drummer so, LOL :p

I'm still learning on the mixing/mastering thing... i hope u guys like the result so far. I have to study so hard to achieve this hahahaha... i dunno if it's good or not, i'm just a newbie :p

This is my FIRST TEST on my new Roland GR-55 Guitar Synth. All the sounds (Banjo, Harmonica, Violin, Acoustic Bass & Acoustic Guitar) are from GR-55. All played via my Cort G-254 Electric Guitar. The 2 vocal characters are done all by myself :p they're all in original pitch, i'm not making them higher or lower.

The original Young Folks song is from Peter, Bjorn & John. But the Bluegrass style i performed here is from Dawn Landes version.

Kepompong Kertas HAHA!

Proses recording lagu ini penuh perjuangan hahahah...

Tanggal 5 Februari 2013, tengah malem iseng2 rekam vocal setelah gitar. Cm buat acuan aja. Banyak lirik yang salah kata karena awal2 masih ngapalin :p

Kemaren tanggal 7, coba diselesain, take vocal lagi. Taunya mood dan auranya beda, tetep bagus yang awal. Akhirnya coba ditambal2 tuh lirik2 yg salahnya... tapi suliiiiiit banget! Karena karakter vocalnya udah beda hahahah... ampe take puluhan kali @_@

Akhirnya cukup nyambung tuh karakter vocal yg lama ama yang baru, trus tambah backing vocal macem2 ampe berjam2 mikir wakkakka... take berulang2 puluhan kali.

Pas udah mo beres, baru nyadar dong banyak file WAV keapus pas lagi edit2, langsung panik!!! Hooooo... untungnya file2nya masih ada di Recycle Bin wakaka :p Tapi kudu grasak grusuk cari file yang bener diantara ratusan WAV sampah @_@

Tapi akhirnya satu2 disusun kembali, sabaaaaar... hahhahaa. Selamat juga :)

Akhirnya tidur telat jam 2 pagi wakakkaka... hadeuuuh gilaaa perjuangan @_@ Well mudah2an hasilnya memuaskan, enjoy :)

Waktu itu lagi nginep di rumah sepupu, si Ree. Biasa lagi iseng2... tiba2 lewat tukang Bapau, lsg lari2 buru2 ngerekam suaranya pake PC... micnya ditarik ke jendela, tapi gak nyampe kwkwkw... heboh pokoknya seru :p
