We cruised to the trash fence for a Tuesday morning sunrise cruise on the @dusty-rhino-1 - a blissful adventure to watch the sun peak over the mountains in the Black Rock desert (and play music to the Burning Man marathon runners, lol)with a gathering of some of my favorite people.

Playing sunrise on an art car is always one of the most unique experiences I think you can create on playa – this was an absolutely surreal morning & I am so grateful. 

Hope you enjoy this set as much as I did playing it (and reliving it over and over in my head).

This a set recreated from what I played at Opulent Temple, Wednesday Night @ 2:30AM - Burning Man 2022 - Sacred Dance ('the white party'). These are the tracks in the order that I played them and mixed far better than how I mixed them live.  Yep, no shame here.  I came on after John Summit played a roaring 2 hour prime time set. I was told "it met the moment", given that Carl Cox and John Summit played back to back before I stepped on. 

Expect big rolling psy infuenced bassline production. Some soulful infused lyrics and melodic chord progressions throughout.

Finally got my recording back from LIB and I'm immediately transported back to the rollercoaster of emotions I experienced that weekend. 

Between the heat, dust and being around tens of thousands of people after going through a pandemic, it's safe to say I was a little rusty at festivaling. On top of it, my legs felt like floppy noodles from how anxious I was to play the prime set time Friday night at the Junkyard. This is something I experience often before gigs, the sweats, self deprecating internal thoughts, imposter syndrome. I questioned if I belonged here or if I earned it. Then I mixed in and immediately felt at home. I thought to myself "Bitch you know what you're doing" and went on to play one of those "highlights of my career" sets for me personally. 

The rest of the night and weekend was a breeze, and the magic of LIB was amplified. I was able to see the thousands of smiling faces in front of me, the above and beyond details The Do Lab had added and updated, and realized this was so many people's first festival back and they could not be happier about it. I could not be happier about it. 

I hope that you enjoy it and that you're happy too.

Cindy B is newer to the DJ scene but it only took her a few years to land a residency at Homewood Mtn Resort in Lake Tahoe, Ca. as well as  a residency abroad in Turks & Caicos. She not only played every Saturday and Sunday for the skiers and riders, she also curated special guest DJ lineups for both mid mtn and the base lodge bookings. Her desire for invoking emotion and facilitating deeper connections thru her music is her driving passion. A raver since the late 90s, she started out holding down dance floors from aprè ski events to Black Rock City and on to the San Francisco underground. Now this pandemic prodigy, based out of the West shore of Lake Tahoe, is catching ears far and wide with her sparkly repertoire of deep house, funky house, afro/tribal house, organic house, bass house, tech house, melodic house and break beats! She can warm it up, tease it out, and put it down. She has played numerous festivals such as FnF, Northern Nights, and Lightening In A Bottle. She has also been holding down the aprés ski scene at Le Chamoix at Palisades Tahoe. You can likely catch her in Reno, Lake Tahoe, Sacramento, San Francisco, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Miami and Groove Cruise! She has provided support for all-stars such as Jody Wisternoff,  Scottyboy, Louise Dee, Drums of the Sun, Dave Dresden, Ollie Sanders and Cocodrills, and Beau Sebastian. It was not surprising to see that she played Miami Music Week 2023 for Twisted Funk records. Cindy B is available for private and corporate events as well.
