Whether you’ve been regularly attending SINE events, just attended the one on a whim, or purely follow us on social media, chances are you will have heard SINE bossman Apey in the mix. This 75min long mix celebrates four years of SINE Series, channelling a diverse range of music from many of our favourite artists - and if you’ve been listening to our podcasts, you’ll know to expect a whole heap of dubs thrown in for good measure. Apey will be closing RM2 on Friday alongside fellow resident Maximous, rolling the night out with style for his Fabric debut.

A special thanks goes out to those who donated to our cause, which is aimed at raising money for Deejays and Artists who have had their tours cancelled and livelihood significantly affected during the pandemic. With an upcoming performance at Hospitality On The Beach 2021, they’ve already begun to cut their teeth as a trio. Blog entry #21 - Hailing from Adelaide, Australia, missledz relocated to the UK in 2017 with an intention to immerse herself in the rich music culture for which it’s renowned.  With a reputation for eclectic, energetic and technical DJ sets, she has graced the decks at institutions such as Cross Club, The Volks, Steelyard, Thekla, Purple Turtle and more.

missledz has released on labels such as Lifestyle Music, Boey Audio, Noxious Records, Strictly Deep DNB, Liquid Brilliants, Headsbass and Bare Necessity Records..  Her tracks have received support from artists such as Fre4knc, Quadrant & Iris, Revaux, Dilemma, and Toronto is Broken, and several of these have notably received airplay on Rene LaVice’s BBC Radio 1 show.

Last year, missledz was involved in the inaugural Dub Wars production battle and has also joined Bristol collectives Rotations and Concrete Jungyals as a resident. The future is looking bright, with a number of releases and collaborations in the pipeline.

Soul Deep Exclusives, Subsid & Scott Allen, are proud to announce the release of the Chasing Dreams EP, which is now available in all major digital stores and streaming platforms.  Brazilian based prouder, Subsid, teams up with L.A.’s, Scott Allen, to craft 4 unique tracks that perfectly blend their signature styles.  Subsid & Scott Allen have been forging their own tracks in their musical journeys, but thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to work together on this project.  Both producers have enjoyed releases on Soul Deep, Smooth N Groove, Good Looking, Liquid V, and many others.  The Chasing Dreams EP is a rich body of work that shows off what can be done when two creative minds collaborate.  The EP kicks off with the title track, “Chasing Dreams,” which features punchy drums, lush key samples, funky sax samples, soulful vocals, and an edgy bassline.  “Undeniable,” takes the groove to the dancefloor with its groovy key samples, dramatic horns, soaring strings, and big 808 style bassline.  “If I Ever Hurt You,” is up next with its swirling guitars, rolling breaks, chunky bassline, and heart-felt vocals.  “One & Only,” finishes things off in style with its dreamy piano keys, Shimmering pads, crunchy breaks, and live sounding bassline.  Overall, the Chasing Dreams EP showcases two passionate producers that craft their sounds to satisfy the soul.

Dizzy Lost In Sound - 20.02.2021

Since 2015, SINE have been establishing themselves across London as a purveyor of quality drum and bass nights, putting on parties at venues such as Fabric, E1, Fire & Lightbox and many more. Teaming up with the likes of Dispatch Recordings, 31 Recordings and ProgRAM, the nights became a go-to for underground drum and bass rinse-outs in the capital, with a close-knit family feel and focus on vibes over everything else.

Over the last year, SINE have been on a journey, expanding the public’s perception of what they can offer to the scene. The beginning of 2020 saw the official launch of SINE Audio, the label arm to the SINE moniker, aiming to transfer the same quality-over-quantity ethos over from their club nights to the label’s output. 

Their sound shifts between the deeper, club-ready end of the spectrum, more experimental efforts, and smooth liquid vibes. SINE have been steadily building their arsenal for when clubs return to the fold, and are ready to fuse their original events expertise with the new label.
