In anticipation of the SINE warehouse rave on the 9 th of November, we have been fortunate enough to get head of @FlexoutAudio @drumandbassi on the reins of our mix series. A man with a serious dub collection, this mix is a journey into the musical mindset of one of the most influential labels of late in the underground drum and bass scene.

“I wanted to showcase my favourite tracks of the moment mixed with some older classic rollers, I didn't deliberately decide to include so much music from artists that are playing at the night but listening back most of the music is from artists on the line-up. I guess that goes to show this warehouse party has one of the best line-ups this year for my personal taste, it is going to showcase the full spectrum of our scene and I am fully hyped for it. I genuinely think this will be the underground party of the year in London.” - Bassi

Next up for our mix series is Hydro, a name who has cemented himself within the underground scene with his heavy drum and bass weaponry. He has released on innumerable iconic labels including Metalheadz, CIA and Critical, as well as often collaborating with other heavyweights such as Total Science, Naibu and War. His highly anticipated debut album is forthcoming soon on Utopia Music. In the meantime, his latest offering is out now, ‘Not Too Late / Trick’ on DLR’s Sofa Sound label, a hefty collaboration that can also be found in this exclusive mix.. Every element of the mix is masterfully crafted, with each song playing a vital piece in building upon the atmosphere and groove of the previous, as well as being packed full of his own productions and exclusives.

Hydro will be rolling out at the Hangar at our SINE warehouse rave on 9th Nov, and we are honoured to have him there alongside the rest of the lineup.

Since 2015, SINE have been establishing themselves across London as a purveyor of quality drum and bass nights, putting on parties at venues such as Fabric, E1, Fire & Lightbox and many more. Teaming up with the likes of Dispatch Recordings, 31 Recordings and ProgRAM, the nights became a go-to for underground drum and bass rinse-outs in the capital, with a close-knit family feel and focus on vibes over everything else.

Over the last year, SINE have been on a journey, expanding the public’s perception of what they can offer to the scene. The beginning of 2020 saw the official launch of SINE Audio, the label arm to the SINE moniker, aiming to transfer the same quality-over-quantity ethos over from their club nights to the label’s output. 

Their sound shifts between the deeper, club-ready end of the spectrum, more experimental efforts, and smooth liquid vibes. SINE have been steadily building their arsenal for when clubs return to the fold, and are ready to fuse their original events expertise with the new label.
