A journey into Drum & Bass meanders, blending weird beats, angry bass, melancholy and storytelling with some mechanical and industrial influences. “Under The Saw” is a sad statement about the pains that anxiety can cause, while “Caspura” is an ode to the Corsica Island.“Terror Machine” will bring you in an exciting mechanical routine and lastly “Wisdom & Beliefs” will tell you a story where reality is interfered by myths.

It had been decades since the city had been abandoned by its inhabitants, inundated by flooding, and transformed into a vast urban wetland. Where flowers once grew on windowsills and signs once hung above doorways one could now find dense reeds and tendrilled vines that crept through the city as an ever-encroaching force to be reckoned with, the slow and steady boring of their roots wearing cracks into the walls of what remained bit by bit over time. Along with the damage from the floods, the ecosystem that now had begun to flourish in this once-concrete jungle seemed determined to lay bare the secrets of its former inhabitants, no matter the risk that they may have posed once exposed.

In this way, the walls to the great factories and powerplants had been sundered, their steel-piped industrial insides spilling forth into the open air as petrified viscera that was itself soon too broken through. Within the vital systems that had once powered this great metropolis
surged a varietal of malevolent and benign compounds that began to mix with the swamped landscape that surrounded them, seething within its waters and unleashing a mutagenic plague on the inhabitants therein. Though many perished until the toxic deluge that poured forth from the city’s insides, select specimens survived and even thrived within this newly tainted environment as it wrought changes in their being as though it were the hand of god itself, sculpting from their flesh novel forms unseen before amidst even myriad worlds. The steel-clad wetlands thus became a nursery for these new forms of life, which germinated within their shaded alleyways before beginning to emerge into the wider world. Therefore it was that the first DANGEROUS WASTE PRODUCTS began to appear on the fringes of civilizations that neighbored this forgotten land, seeking to spread the corruption of their septic home and absorb new realms from which they could birth forth further mutated spawn.

With DANGEROUS WASTE PRODUCT, FOURWARD reemerge from the EATBRAIN horde to deliver a pair of sonic concoctions effused with noxious atmospheres and thundering basslines that leave a lasting effect on their listener’s constitutions, mutating their sonic preferences towards the duo’s characteristic sound.

Digital Gravity - The Story

In a space of darkness and emptiness, a powerful impulse breaks through the infinity. Driving and sweeping, the impulse expands. Like an inexorable wave of energy, it penetrates everything - time and space. Becoming faster and faster, vibrating and setting everything in motion, the wave rises to an all-dwelling Moloch of glistening light, making worlds collapse into itself.

The impulse leaves behind a feeling of dizziness. Searching for orientation, wavering and staggering. Searching its own path, attracted by an indefinite power, a digital gravity that threatens to devour everything and changing it. Molecules are newly combined, structures newly created, in a perpetual process - fascinating and frightening at the same time. What is this place? Darkness gradually envelops the mind and only the merciless mechanical hammering holds the last remnants of consciousness in the here and now. The inexorably driving pulse removes any control. The body moves as if in intoxication. Floating and simultaneously falling, senseless in the pull of gravity.

Awakening in the rust of gigantic, desolate metal ruins. Searing heat amidst the dusty dryness of the wasteland. Toxic winds transport a biting smell. An oppressive feeling of premonition creeps out of the deepest inside and takes possession - knowing that something is coming. The air is pierced by the sound of a siren announcing disaster. The pulse hammers in panic, with only one goal in mind - to reach the stream of knowledge. Straightening up with the last of one's strength, staggering more than running over the remains of a civilization long gone and feeling the threatening breath of the pursuer in the neck. Further, in an almost ritual act of movement, towards the source.

The goal within reach, a perpetual stream of pulsating energy rising into nothing, surrounded by an angular caldera of black glass. Here it is. Something old, powerful - that remains when nothing is left. One last thought, the hope of escaping what is inexplicable. This mighty old energy, flowing through space and time, surrounding and penetrating at the same time. Only one touch and everything makes sense. The air vibrates, the inexorable pulsation traverses marrow & bone and rises to an all in itself dissolving noise. An unfathomable, exorbitant tension that in a single moment tears the world around into pieces to unload in a powerful impulse.
