Italian artists Lonely & Michael Js team up on Rekids’ REK’D sublabel with the ‘Libre’ EP. First up, Desolat artist and SICK MODE label boss Lonely drops title track ‘Libre’, a drummy groove keeping pace along a hypnotic, sultry Latin vocal and an earworm bitcrushed melody. Lonely is then joined by DJ and producer Michael Js, known for his sets at Fotonica Festival, ADE, Space Ibiza, LAB Madrid, and more, for ‘Lonemind’, featuring a rolling House beat, zippy synthlines and high-impact sampling, closing out the ‘Libre’ EP already supported by the likes of Laurent Garnier, Gina Breeze, and Marco Faraone.

We've had a few quality tech house mixes recently on the Meet the Locals podcast, but now it's time for some proper balls to the wall, take no prisoners, techno from long serving local https://soundcloud.com/sinestro. Recorded live at his recent appearance at Big Dub, this one grabs you by the short and curlies and doesn't let go!

"I was invited to play in The Pirate ship at Big Dub this year so I knew I was going to be able to play a lot harder than your average club gig. Boy was I right! I started off with a 140 bpm Surgeon tune from 1999 and was able to keep the vibe going till the end of the set. The highlight of the night was a remix I did for VKTR vs Gazza "Funny Biz". The bassline in that track kicked in and the crowd went into overdrive. Stellar party! Big props to Ian Denbow and Chad Bozzarelli for booking me along with Eddie Traxson and Dj AMP for making the sound so dope."
