Sinethemba Makoma known as Imesim, born and bred in Cape Town. Imesim's love for music started in the early 2000s when he gathered with friends to listen and play music inspired by heavy Deep House and Tech producers. His sets weaves together Deep House, Tech and Techno that has seen him playing at various festivals and night clubs along with notable local and international DJs. He has played in some of the most prominent festivals and night clubs in Cape Town such as, Reset formerly known as Era, Innercity Underground, Club 89, the Public House to name a few, and also has made his mark in Small  Town Beat festival. He is an active resident of a creative movement for like-minded artists famously known as Deeto Sessions. Over the years he has been gaining his rhythm and fluency in his style of music. Imesim is an eclectic vibrant spinner who’s always inspired to see the crowd sweating to his dark and heavy sounds whenever he plays, putting more of his focus to great sequencing and mixing to pervade musical journey moments. His style of playing got him earning regularly booking in one of the most growing scenes in Cape Town such as, Sunday Sessions events, and many more.
