Akaal Singh, 10 years old, writes and performs a song about the atrocities and condition of Sikhs in India during 1984. He was inspired by the courage and strength of Sikhs like Jaswant Singh Khalra. He took that as inspiration to compose a song that reflected what he felt were heroic efforts by his Sikh people who faced oppression and genocide.

Being born in Canada and a predominantly English speaking atmosphere, Akaal Singh still made his strongest efforts to compose this song in both English and Punjabi so he could tell his non-Punjabi speaking peers what has and is still happening to Sikhs in India.
