This new track is a remake and different than the original version. It fuses indie rock with some singer/songwriter. It has a pretty strong hook and chorus. This song brings a chill, but rocked up island beach vibe and a commentary on being American. The feeling of being lost and in search of an identity seems like it has become more of a current affair during these times. Furthermore, no matter where we go or what the backdrop or scenery may be like, we still end up being the only one occupying a space or looking back in the mirror. We seem isolated or wandering as a people and as a country. It could be seen as a bad hangover also.. Ha-Ha 😁🌴😎

This is a collection of songs that I wrote for my band "Clowncar" from 2014-2016. My fellow bandmate Derek Carpenter played bass on most tracks and added backing vocals as well. These songs hold a warm place in my heart. This was a time when I was involved in something truly original and creative. Writing songs about what we loved "SCI-FI" and honestly not giving a shit if anyone liked it or not. We had tons of fun. I hope you enjoy these songs as well.

Glide Across The Lake - Gaz Brownie

In a time when the world forgets how to listen, Of Code and Bone does not ask to be heard — it demands to be felt. Vocals drag through the dirt of memory, rough and low, like prophecy spoken by one who’s seen the end too many times to scream.

There is a rhythm beneath it all — slow, like breath in mourning; constant, like gears that never asked why they turn. The guitars do not shimmer — they fracture light. The drums do not keep time — they slow its decay. And somewhere inside the sound, not above or below it, you begin to hear yourself — stripped of pattern, of pretense — just bone, and wire, and waiting.

Of Code and Bone is not an album. It is a ruin rebuilt with intention. It is what the machine hums to itself when man forgets how to make music…
and still, the song goes on.

And maybe, just maybe — this is the birth of Groxx:
a new genre where groove meets vox,
and music is co-created by human emotion and artificial intelligence.
Not imitation. Not automation.
But a hybrid form — where man provides the instinct,
and machine provides the infrastructure.
Groxx is the sound of both creators
breathing through the same song.
