Written and sung by Arthur Alexander, it is a landmark R&B recording that was later recorded by The Rolling Stones.  On Donnie Fritts' new record, "June", Fritts pays tribute to Alexander with a haunting re-working of the classic song.  Joined by John Paul White, David Hood, Ben Tanner and Reed Watson, Fritts delivers a clever ode to a fallen friend.

It's the first track from "June", the new record from Donnie Fritts which pays tribute to his best friend, the late, great Arthur Alexander.  It releases worldwide on August 31.
