This pack contains 665 unique samples and ranges from Drum One Shots and Loops, Bass One Shots, FX, Ambience, Melody Loops and more!

Colours was a joint project between Canvas, Paloris and Single Purpose. We worked hard creating samples daily for the entire duration of Pride Month because we wanted to use it as a way to help raise some money for a good cause.

The pack will be available for a minimum of £5 during July (you have the option to donate more) and 100% of the revenue will be donated to OutRight, a charity which helps defend and fight for the human rights of LGBTQ+ people all over the world. On the 1st August the pack will be made available to everyone for free and all the money raised will be donated!

Nightmare Night

This is the song Canvas and I made for the latest All Nighter by FORM, an event where musicians have to produce a song from scratch in no more than 24 hours! 

Inspired by Ace Aura (especially the song "Another Heart" from the last AN compilation) we initially planned to make a melodic riddim track but quickly realized that our sound design skills are not up to par for this task (yet). This is why the song evolved to be more garage focused, a genre we are way more confident in. 

Sadly the song didn't get on the final album, but it was a fun and challenging experience nonetheless! For me personally it felt very refreshing to get out of my dnb comfort zone and try a few different approaches in song writing.

If you are curious what Akogare means, it is the "deep feeling of respect and admiration that one may feel for someone they greatly look up to, usually someone who is extremely talented".
