An 'audio sunset' with bird calls as they settle into the forest at Callicoma Hill Eco-cabins, at Mt Royal, 50km north of Singleton and at 700m altitude. Bird species identified in rough order of appearance: grey butcherbird, pied currawong (lots), red wattlebird (lots), Australian king parrot, willie wagtail (one only), white-throated treecreeper. You'll also experience swallows flitting past, an occasional fly & plenty of wind in the trees!

Morning birdcalls in the forest at Callicoma Hill Eco-cabins, at Mt Royal, 50km north of Singleton and at 700m altitude - these birds are active ahead of the rain later in the morning. Bird species identified are: lots of crimson rosellas, pied currawongs, grey fantail (could be rufous), eastern yellow robin, grey shrike-thrush, golden whistler, superb fairy-wren, brown gerygone, black-faced cuckoo-shrike, red wattlebird, laughing kookaburra, brown thornbill and vaguely possible weebill.
