Asymmetric head Inigo Kennedy returns to his label with a supreme five track EP 'Broken Signals'.

'Battle Scars' opens the EP in dramatic style and acts as a fittingly cinematic introduction before 'Control Phase' hits hard and direct; a slice of sweeping, grinding techno in its purest form. Title track 'Broken Signals' is an absolute beauty, aching pads, full of hope, cemented by an almost electro-tinged beat and set against a distant static noise. 'Contortion' follows with nothing short of relentless, bubbling malevolence. Bringing the EP to a close, is 'Wild Horses' with its layers of unmistakable Kennedy melody set against a solid 909 backdrop.

For our 11th podcast we invited the Canadian duo FNKSTLL.

 Manfred Lotz and Jason Camp have taken their artistic drive and their shared love for electronic music, and formed the West Coast Canadian Techno duo known as FNKSTLL . The artist name originates from the German word, “Funkstille”, which translates into “Radio Silence”. Their productions are dark and minimal using classic sounds like the TR-707, TB-303 and a range of Detroit Techno chords and samples. Their inspiration and style is generated through the cold grey winters that overtake Canada for more than 6 months out of the year, and the vastness of the Pacific Ocean that lays at their doorstep.

With a fresh sound, and tight productions, their music has been featured in underground clubs around the world. With their exuberant drive, and passion for Techno, it is a sure thing that their tracks are pushing the boundaries of your expectations.
