About the track:
Abyss means a deep, dark, endless tunnel. Hence, in this track, I went for an unconventionally dark mood. The atmosphere is very dark, not lush like my other tracks. There is a unique hit-hat/ Perc effect that I created with some delay effect to resemble the delayed sound if you throw a stone down a big ditch or hole. The bass is probably the darkest element of the track. It brings tension as if something is approaching from the dark. The vocal and the pluck further signify the dark mood.

This song is about separation. When you are far away from the person you love - you start to feel in mono.

The Foreign continues to experiment with Future Garage to describe his feelings. The musician is trying to understand and accept the new realities in which he has to live in.
