“​I haven’t put a mix together in a while so I wanted it to reflect a lot of what I’ve been listening to and playing at my club night, CMYK, and to draw lines between all of it. I don’t really focus on any one genre - I just pick what sounds good to me, so it tends to come out eclectic. There’s music in here from me, some of my friends and some people I admire. Some exclusives you’ll be hearing in the near future and a few bits of nostalgia thrown in. Love to everyone listening x”

To be sure that all the wire’s in his new studio was correctly plugged in, the first thing Olefonken did was a remake of Joystick Jay’s unreleased track called, "Trafikklyset".

Every single sound is from one source only, the Korg Ms-10 (with loads of processing of course) which resulted in a pretty scruffy and lo-fi version if you will. 

A couple of lockdowns later we figured it could possibly be a nice little treat for our friends and followers, wishing you all a happy and safe 2021!✨
