Hello friends!
We are happy to present you today the debut EP “Mind Trickster” from our friend Dinesh from the former pirate island Mauritius. The EP contains three extraordinary original tracks, rounded off
through remixes of Reverse Osmosis from India and Sinus Recordings labelhead Reduzida.
Dineshs sound can be described as hypnotic, twisted, tribal, melancholic, sometimes even dramatic, progressive techno with a twist of psychedelic elements, inspired by the great outdoors and the underground vibes.
Since the choice to become performer, he has been having great chances playing in Melbourne, then travelled back to Mauritius where he stayed a few years while absorbing a lot of the local energy in a new perspective which became a major motivation for his musical purpose. Now living in Berlin since 7 years, this amazing city is where he is pursuing his journey, taking things step by step, getting ready for the next chapter of his musical and personal mission.

Okay, "we at Sinus have respect for old heroes, but we would much rather deal with new legends" Elly is something like a signal of hope, that from Frankfurt it's not just the worst German rock band of all time, the guy who was sued by   Kraftwerk  and sausages are coming, but also ELLY. And we're proving that "Elly Fetzt" is here, right?

Okay, "wir bei Sinus haben Respekt vor alten Helden, aber noch viel lieber beschäftigen wir uns mit neuen Legenden" Elly ist sowas wie ein Hoffnungssignal, , daß aus Frankfurt nicht nur die schlechteste Deutschrock-Band aller Zeiten, der Typ, der von Kraftwerk verklagt wurde und Würstchen kommen, sondern auch ELLY. Und daß  "Elly Fetzt" beweisen wir ja hiermit, GELL?

SINUS SPACECAST 001 – REDUZIDA

Reduzida, born near Koblenz, grew up in a small town in Northern Germany, compensated the small-town boredom with dealing with everything that had to do with music. After several active years in the punk rock and hip hop scene, he was quite attracted to the electronic dance music rooted in Hamburg.
Gradually he started to develop his own djing / production approach for electronic club sounds. He quickly became an active part of the Hamburg techno scene and teamed up with his fellow Martin Gruen to found the Sinus collective. Reduzida's sound is located between minimalistic, playful techno and psy-tech, always with groove, without falling into typical clichés typical of the genre.
His releases are also part of this spectrum, published by Soupherb Records, Tlaloc, NixxNeues and All about Plastic, among others.

Reduzida, geboren in der Nähe von Koblenz, aufgewachsen in einer Kleinstadt in Norddeutschland, kompensierte die Dorf-Langeweile damit, sich mit allem zu beschäftigen, was mit Musik zu tun hatte. Nach mehreren aktiven Jahren in der Punkrock- und Hip-Hop-Szene fühlte er sich von der in Hamburg verwurzelten elektronischen Tanzmusik angezogen.

Nach und nach begann er, seinen eigenen Djing / Produktionsansatz für elektronische club-sounds zu entwickeln. Er wurde schnell ein aktiver Teil der Hamburger Technoszene  und schloss sich mit Martin Gruen zusammen, um das Sinus-Kollektiv zu gründen. Reduzidas Sound ist angesiedelt zwischen minimalistischem, verspieltem Techno und Psy-Tech,  immer mit Groove, ohne dabei in genretypische Klischees zu verfallen.

In dieses Spektrum ordnen sich auch seine Releases ein, veröffentlicht unter anderem bei Soupherb Records, Tlaloc, NixxNeues und All about Plastic.

Spacecast 001 REDUZIDA

Din Esh,
 born and raised on the hot sand of once and "still" pirate island of Mauritius, he was lucky to grow up surrounded by great music thanks to his friends and family, he therefore developed quite a selective taste at a young but he didn’t know yet back then that it would also have an impact on him, meaning eventually dedicating himself more to the music industry, which happened as a calling or revelation after having attended some events in Australia where his love to electronic music just went to the next drastic level, and since he is quite shy and introvert by nature, it was the perfect way for him to express himself as loud as possible. Dinesh is very thankful to his parents who believed in him, they were extremely supportive by financing his first set of cd players and a mixer, and this is when it all started.
Started mixing Drum & Bass in Melbourne in 2009 but eventually dived into minimal- techno not long after when properly introduced to it. His style has been evolving throughout all these years but the main root of his selection can be classified in the techno genre. He believes that a set can be ritualistic, to spiritually celebrate ourselves and reconnect, just like a guided therapy using various sounds and frequencies to be heard but also to be felt physically, aiming to plunge into ones mind and soul then trigger the need to dance with a purpose.
Hypnotic, twisted, tribal, melancholic, sometimes even dramatic... progressive techno with a twist of psychedelic elements, inspired by the great outdoors and the underground vibes.
Since the choice to become performer, he has been having great chances playing in Melbourne, then travelled back to Mauritius where he stayed a few years while absorbing a lot of the local energy in a new perspective which became a major motivation for his musical purpose.
