Jersey City bred, Haitian rapper, Herschel Joseph, best known as Sincere, has what it takes to make an impression in the music industry with his lyricism, charm, keen fashion sense, and business savvy.  If asked, Sincere would say his life struggles molded him into the person you see today.  While both parents were Haitian natives, solely his mother, who had been forced to work 3 jobs at one point, raised the young Sincere into a man.  At the young age of 9, Sincere found an outlet, a form of therapy: writing music.  He even began playing the piano two years prior, at 7 years old.  Since then, he has been striving towards his career as a music artist with one thing in mind, to only get better. Sincere could even be found in the courtyard of his school, ‘free-styling’ with friends and filling numerous composition notebooks with lyrics as a young teen.
Now at 20 years old, Sincere spends countless nights in the studio working on his first EP, titled Sincerely Yours, scheduled to drop on April 14th, 2013.  He recently released his first single, titled “Be You (B.U.),” which can be heard via Sound Cloud.  He is currently working on a music video as well, and he’s also planning a concert for his 21st birthday on July 22nd.  Sincere is known as a sharp dresser, who has even styled models for photo shoots and shows. Was it mentioned that Sincere is doing all of this while working towards a Bachelors Degree in Economics at St. Peter’s University, in addition to working as a bank teller?  As he enters his senior year of college and realizes time waits for no one, he continues to be a diverse, creative and goal oriented man who knows exactly where he came from and where he is destined to go, all for his love of music.
