One of Copenhagen’s most beloved artists Christian d’Or returns with new music, dropping a stunning track from forthcoming EP “Tough Soul”. 

On Friday 22 April, Christian d’Or will release the EP “Tough Soul” on Sound of Copenhagen. It is an EP that oozes d’Or, but also uncovers new musical layers of the renowned Copenhagen DJ.  As a musician he is steeped in styles such as psych, disco and jazz and on “Tough Soul”, d’Or shows a more sinister side. Musically, the five songs on the EP salute the 70s and 80s, while the lyrics’ timeless themes of love and hate are securely carried by d’Or’s dark vocals.

“Tough Soul” is the first single from forthcoming EP by the same name.

The latest edition of our Discobelle mix series comes from an old friend based out of Miami, @lazarocasanova has been churning out rolling, warm sounding and undeniably groovy house tunes since 2006 with releases on labels such as Murk, Leftroom, Culprit, Get Physical, Nervous as well as their sub-label, Nurvous and should be considered one of the great dj's/producers coming out of the US.

Lazaro started his own label @petfood back in 2008 focusing on deep house and the label has released music from big names such as Waze & Odyssey, Urulu, No Artificial Colours and Poupon etc. Last year he became the manager of legendary label @murkrecords which has seen him working closely with house music legends Oscar G and Ralph Falcon.

This one hour long mix for us here at Discobelle is the perfect companion to the weekend ahead with its hypnotizing groove and seamless mixing of house tracks that all omit a suggestive groove and a warmth that makes us long to be back in Miami.

Still dealing with some Photoshop issues but here's a new mix from Munich based producer @thissoftmachine (AKA Tim Sullivan)who  is getting ready to release his new single "It's Operational" via Belgian label @eskimorecordings on June 3rd and this week he's in Sweden for his first ever dj dates here.

He put together a smashing, superbly funky and seductively smooth disco/house/balearic pop inspired mix for us which is guaranteed to get you dancing and to get a whole lot of plays here at Discobelle HQ.
