Milrök II

En gång i ändlösa skogar där urbergen stupande stå,
bortom svindlande, vida myrar, där timmarna dödstysta gå,
där välvde i smältvit hetta ett bål under stybbade bryn,
där tumlade väldig och vitgrå den fräna röken mot skyn
Där kring gick en sotig mänska med ögon som matt porslin
och svettas hett under sotet i de vassaste vindarnas vin.
Hans själ kunde brinna som andras, hans bröst hade hat och tro
och hans längtan steg med röken ur skogarnas eviga ro.
Han sjöng och hans sång blev röken från ett bål som helt brann ner,
det är vitt och svart och försvinner, det är milrök och ingenting
mer.

My first Soundcloud upload! I'm getting back into composing, so here is the first of my current workings. I was going for something abstract with a strong beat that resonated with my current feelings, and I think I got it down pretty well, although I hope to improve on quality with future works.
