For last month we needed to chill out a bit, hence the chill cover of K.K. Lament. To make up for it this month, we decided to go really heavy. The contest theme was Fire and Ice, and many tracks were considered, but after hearing The Volcano/NEVEC Battle from Lost Planet, something just clicked and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.(Also, it's a volcano on an ice planet. What's more fire and ice than that!)
Knowing what I wanted, I made sure to make a quick mock up and get some collaborators on board asap. Thankfully, Dewey and CA joined in enthusiastically!(CA turned his audio in within 20 minutes of receiving the parts. What an absolute beast!)
