The song weaves different guitar parts into one jazz-rock theme and is about the struggle for truth and keeping ones saneness in a world of information and disinformation overload.

Even the worst of times can get better...with time. Featuring the wonderful vocals of Sabrina Miele, ("Sabrina Miele" on SoundCloud) and Shaels gorgeous, weeping steel guitar, "The Worst is Over" is a remake of our first recorded song, produced by Shael Wrinch at Stone Hill studios on beautiful Bowen Island. My name is Dom Reynolds and I'm a singer-songwriter, musician, audio engineer and tutor. 

I am currently writing and recording with Belgium-born musician Jozef Birling. Having played together formerly in a group called Infra Red during the late ‘noughties’, we reconvened in the 2020s by jamming and then preparing a set of covers for live street performance.  Once we discovered that we have similar musical and artistic tastes, and that our original songs fitted well together, we created an album of newly-penned songs in an eclectic but rootsy style. The album is entitled Change the Plan, and is available for streaming or for purchase at domreynolds.com and Bandcamp.  Our next album, Roast Dinner Drive, came out in the summer of 2023. Our new single, Wish Me Luck/ Be The Difference, is out NOW!

Excitingly, we also have an exciting new album in preparation -with a working title Love and Pain- scheduled for release in 2024. 

We have recently been joined by B. Just (Desperate Beauty), who is playing drums and percussion for the band for their live shows, Ethan on bass and Alex on backing vocals and acoustic guitar. The band is called  Dom Reynolds Derelicts.
