The way this second chord comes in is so nice. It's not what I expected, but it creates a really beautiful turn in emotion that leads into the chorus so nicely. I love when the groove really kicks in. And the ending vamp is so nice. Makes me feel better about everything :)

I decided to use the chord progression of the song 'The Letter' by The Box Tops (1967) as an inspiration for a piece of music. I slowed the tempo down and then put my own piano melody and accompaniment to it

Travelling to and from a lake where I was windsurfing for the day, I was listening to a Podcast called The Tune Shed, a podcast for music makers and the episode I listened to had a guy breaking down a track he had made with had a strong ambient, organic feel to it and that inspired me to create more of a soundscape than a piece of music. The collection of sounds gave me the feeling of an Alien Planet

I decided to make a track with just 3 guitars, other than a drum track. I used an electro acoustic, steel string guitar for the chord accompaniment and also used it for an acoustic bass, the main melody is played on a nylon string classical guitar and the lead guitar and 2nd bass guitar on my PRS guitar. Called Les Trois Guitares because I thought it sounded cooler than The Three Guitars!
